It truly serves as a stark reminder of how far Canada has fallen and half the population fails to even realize it. Tim Hortons serves as a microcosm of what happened to the nation: taken over by an international conglomerate, filled with TFWs from the subcontinent, and see a precipitous drop in quality of both product and service. Yet the customer is always the problem because they dare have the audacity to askant later demand for the bare minimum. I don't remember who posted a link to that article on the underlying flaws of Indian "civilization" but Canada has developed a similar culture. Canadian politics have created a culture of grift for decades--possibly since the beginning of confederation. We have a bloated bureaucracy, countless special interest groups (often in the guise of NGOs), and cronies looking to bleed the taxpayer dry. Meanwhile, the establishment media downplays--if not downright suppresses--the scale of the graft to keep the guileless proles ignorant and the RCMP and judiciary is too politicized to hold the Laurentian con artists accountable.

Canada has become a place where demanding better from your government is unacceptable. The broader culture expects you to not only accept your miserable lot, but to be grateful for it. You should feel privileged that the federal government is racking up record deficits and handing the bill to future generations while importing the entirety of Punjab to defecate in our streets and creep on white women. What's worse if that everything about this country feels completely artificial. @Flan Handler noted how astroturfed our arts and culture scene is. Our recent federal election and outpouring of so-called patriotism was nothing more than a marketing campaign that the Liberals dropped all pretense after they received the desired result. Elbows up from November to April and it's been knees down since May. Carney spent more time deferring to Trump and acting as little more than a sycophant during his visit to the White House and later at G7.

Canada can't be saved in its current form, nor should it be because it was built on a foundation of exploitation and lies born from resentment. We aren't better than the Americans. We're worse. Much, much worse. It requires a structural change that gives better representation to the western half of this country with severe restrictions on the powers of the executive and the federal government. That will never happen because there are too many special interests that benefit from this rapidly-eroding establishment. The only real option may be to end this failed experiment altogether.
 
Holy shit, apparently there was a literal Khalistani terrorist attack in BC recently? Or at least a related group claimed credit for a cafe shooting?

I'm still looking for more info on it rn, literally only just head about it 'cause of Elev8's latest video, and.... well, he didn't exactly go very in-depth about it

Complete agreement and I don’t know what to do beyond fortifying myself, my family, and my local community.

This isn’t even a real country. On the plus side, this isn’t a real country. Hence everyone I know hasn’t just kept their guns, they are more heavily armed than ever, even though disarming us is one of the feds’ highest priorities.

This applies to other things. They keep twiddling around with various regulations for agriculture and land use. We’re just ignoring them out here, they don’t actually have the ability to fully oppress us in meatspace.

I’m sure they will try to make examples out of a few of us… but I don’t know, people here don’t really give a fuck. I don’t think there’s a good understanding by the urbanites of how much prepping and coordination is happening. Like, the casual irl schizo fedposting in public is new, and no one blinks an eye.

I don’t actually know how it’s all going to go, it just feels like constant pressure ratcheting up. This can’t possibly go on indefinitely.

Fortunately, should a glorious civil war break out to eliminate the third worlders, third worlders are so notoriously inept that you'll mostly be fighting treasonous whites while the browns flee. Don't expect the yellows to hang around either. China isn't a shithole so overnight half of British Columbia will just remigrate back to Shenzhen. Yellows in the US aren't 360 no scoping the nogs shoving them into trains so don't expect any actual effort to remain when things get really bad.

The inevitable civil war will be easiest conflict ever. No one outside liberal useless eaters and champagne socialists support the feds, all the jeets and chinks will flee. Quebec and the Prairies (our industral heartlands) will secede, and any right minded CAF soldier wont side with the feds. Outside of a few globohomos and party loyalists, there is really nothing in the way for Canadian liberation. The conflict itself is the simple part, however the rebuilding part will prove very challenging.

Oh, I'm sure the masons are already prepared to turn any revolt into just another Liberté Egalité Fraternité republic even further along in the spirit of rebellion than is already the case in this nominative monarchy.

You would need to start by taking Parks Canada forts, RCMP stations, bridges. Simultaneously take out Shaw and Rogers hubs. Then you can take municipal police stations. Win hearts and minds along the way, get the cops to join you. Take a city. Take a province.

But you gotta elect your general into a king to prevent this from happening again. And I don't think you'll do that. I think you would rather be a hamburger slurper. The States certainly isn't going to help you get free: you're already their vassal. Maybe the Russians would help you, but you'll have to make it worth their while. Fuck the USD and join the BRICS system.

But whatever. These are fantasies. Easier to daydream about this escape than to face reality, pick up your cross, and bear it. A real free man is free even chained in a dungeon. A slave is a slave even if he's Leader of The FreeTM World.

Can you blame a canuck for not wanting to be in the same country as California? The nice, rural parts of the US are being overrun by liberals from the major cities trying to turn the whole country into a reflection of LA.

That said, I'm trying to come up with reasons Canada isn't just part of the US already. I was going to say funny accents but the US has Minnesota already. It's not the maple syrup or pretentious crunchy granola liberals because the US has Vermont already. Getting shat up by jeets was uniquely Canadian until Texas got invaded by jeets over the Mexican border and SV mass imported H1B jeets. A disconnected upper class pretending to be a modern aristocracy? No, Rhode Island is already in the US. Chinks shit up California too.

What exactly is unique to Canada that isn't already in the US? The US is even doing well at hockey now. Might as well join the US and at least get the benefit of a unified market and the chance to piss off Quebec. Can just turn the whole Great Lakes region into a Canuck reservation. Thunder Bay can get a casino ran by the totally native and not 90% white injuns of Ontario. British Columbia wouldn't even notice if it became its own state north of Washington State. Snobbish liberals and chinks infest that whole coastline.
