Tribalism. Natives don't want to fix their own problems, but they'll be damned if another race is gonna give them shit. White people who live on reserves are targeted and harassed all the time. A street-shitter attacking Natives is gonna get dissapeared real fast, and there's a million miles of reserve land to bury them under.

I'm not the biggest fan of native culture, but having lived and worked with them on many occasions, I understand some of their points.

Jeets versus Natives would probably result in a jeet win simply because of sheer numbers, but they'd get supremely fucked up.

Parminder takes pride in his ill-gotten gains, and is constantly posting his fancy BMW to TikTok. Charlie John from Attiwapiskat would burn that thing to the ground just for looking at him funny.
 
I gave up on the Canadian government and the Canadian public, I'm just discriminatory in my private life, and I don't really care for the public at this point. I'm concerned only for the people who have similar political views, cultural views, and religious values as I do.

I really do not care anymore for the rest, it's tiring. Tolerance burns you out. We're expected to tolerate Third World cultures. Gross.

It would be a lot less tiresome if tolerance went both ways, but oddly, it is only ever the founding culture of this country that gets banned in schools, erased from public events and told to let the invaders have their way of life accepted.

At this exact moment it's still before Parliament.

Carney has invoked closure after the Bloq asked to have the bill split into two votes. One for the base bill and a second vote for the special powers bit. But Careny said no and now they're wrangling back and forth.

Closure means no MP goes home until the vote is completed today so I still expect it to pass but I was surprised to see the Bloq step up and the Cons stay quiet.

Edit: the Cons are now supporting the bill so it will definitely pass. Once again selling out Canadians like always. Anyone who says the Liberals and Conservatives are different parties is either stupid or delusional.

This is why I dislike posters in this thread who claim things would be different under Pierre Poillevre. They are just Liberals doing to speed limit.

I guess in truth this doesn't really change much.

With the courts and the media solidly controlled by the current party in power they could realistically do whatever they wanted anyway.

All this vote does is make a few less hoops to jump through.

Again, you get the government you deserve and Canadians have voted over and over to say that as long as you boil the frog slow you can just do whatever.

I may actually toss my Canadian citizenship after this, as someone whose been targeted by the Feds before I'm guessing the truce period will be over and with this new power the RCMP can pretty much dig up whatever they want against you and you cant even protest it in court anymore.
 
I expected nothing and I’m still disappointed.

Realistically one would think that as long as you don’t do anything to make the RCMP think you’re on their radar (read - don’t be an unhinged schizo irl) you’ll be fine, but Canada - the RCMP’s priorities are funky on a good day.

It’s not stopping my shitposting here, but I mostly stick to my niche threads and don’t fedpost anyway. Makes that VPN much more appealing - over under on those being made illegal next?
