Unironically, he should just gather the whole party together and demand genocide next election. It would probably win him the election easily. Worst case scenario, start a civil war in Canada and reign supreme west of Ontario as a warlord. Oil state dictatorships have been founded on less oil reserves. It isn't as if Toronto can actually do anything to stop them from breaking away.

Hope he does cause I couldn't give two shits about capital gains when housing prices are out of control.

I would keep the Principal Residence exemption for first homes (and second homes if sold within the year or two of inheritance from elderly family members) Give a grace period for inheritances of houses so they aren't taxed as capital gains.

It wouldn't even be a surprised if power plants that are "not clean energy" would be forced to shut off periodically to "reduce long-term carbon emissions", causing blackouts everywhere and turning Leafland into South Africa or Venezuela-levels of power insecurity.

I fucking hate this city man. How in the fuck did we cuck this hard to some turbanshitter rando with a name like A(I)slam Rana? Who's entire campaign is also, mind you, essentially based entirely around the idea of further fucking our already dangerously positioned steel industry, i.e. our MAIN source of economy, so they can instead invest even more into potential 'alternative revenue streams for growth' such as 'environmental development', and 'supporting the arts'!

The only semi-positive note to this outcome I can try to comfort myself with is that at least Green finally got fucking BTFO'd hard by the conservatives after constantly shitting the bed time and time again during his past terms, so at least my vote amounted to something... as marginal as it is.

Originally I was planning to probably just throw away my vote and go for the rhinoceros party (whatever their name is) for the lulz, because all 3 of the major candidates are some shade of nigger with stupid policies, and the PPC is yet again a retard no one's going to vote for.
But then of course my folks just had to inform me of their 'brilliant tactical voting plan' to support the Libs (despite disagreeing with the candidates policies!) because of 'muh drumpf' and how they wanted me to vote NDP to 'balance it out' and shit, which forced my hand even if out of spite
