In true lazy redskin fashion, the Aboriginal People's Television Network election coverage signed off exactly at midnight before the final results so their panelists could go home.

And so they could run a North of 60 rerun in its place.

Ho god I love minority governments. 90's pay freeze CAF might be closer than I think...
I look forward to going to the polls yet again in October, when even fewer people are paying attention and the Liberals get handed a majority.

I dunno if you watched any of Carney's events, but it was full of like 70 year old boomer women going "elbows up, elbows up!, as if they had anything to fight for except a vague sense of anti-Trumpism and faster access to MAID. The people who live here are deeply unserious; even their Gen X kids are now hurting in this economy. The only ones who remain insulated and well-pensioned is the Eternal Boomer who will suck every dollar out of productivity out of the economy if it meant one more Disney swinger's cruise before they shuffle off this mortal coil.

Also, I always get nervous when the BQ hold the balance because it means whatever retardation the government wants gets passed so long as Quebec get more gibs. Frog niggers get out of my country reeeee

The news on the ground is that turnout was pretty bad.

Even with a decade of social, economic, political mismanagement AND "threats" of annexation are not enough to increase the turnout in Canada.

Lmao.

Not a serious country.

I did my part and civic duty. It's the country that's not pulling its weight.

The problem with conservatives is that they just have no power. Say what you will about Trump, but he can energize his voters and get even groups that would not vote for him to vote for him (Latinos and black men). I remember when Harper lost to Trudeau. Trudeau was largely voted in because women found him attractive, and Harper didn't even try during his campaign. People found him too boring and he just appealed to the economy. Things had not gotten bad then so people did not believe him. PP had his 'Axe the Tax' that, as someone said, Carney axed because it was a deeply unpopular tax, and he had the economy argument. Harper didn't appeal to Jeets then because they were not a problem then. Now they are because the floodgates were opened in 2015, and you can't reverse shit like that.
