Elev8 had a funny theory about PM that because all the volume is American and the screen names of a lot of thr big whales don't politically align with their bets that bettors are confusing thw party colours with the US affiliations.

The Maritimes is usually always a Liberal/NDP stronghold do to the fact it is poore, welfare, lots of natives demanding handouts etc. and a pretty big union area. A lot of the young people ik are voting conservative due to the fact that they have campaigned on housing and affordability. A lot of young people are pretty pissed off at the smug boomers who don't care about the future of this country and care more about buying a second or third house/Florida winter property. NDP might suffer in this election just because Jagmeet has not been a good leader for them.

It really can't be understated how significant the Con turnout for NL is. I'm slightly more optimistic now than I was before. All it takes is for Ontario to be Ontario to make that all for naught, though.

I get it now. There is something so self-righteous about this country and its people by large. They have all the smugness of the Brits and the French but without the centuries of Imperialism and being a former world power to fuel that.

Every "democracy" in existence is like that, especially in the West. It just so happens that Canada exemplifies that smugness and unwarranted self-importance the most, but in fairness, it's always in competition with the other Four Eyes nations to see which one is the most insufferable.
 
I vooooooted. I don't have any faith in politics but I hope the retarded gun laws can get rolled back to the less retarded gun laws. I have no other hopes or expectations.
