Total Warhammer shitposter Tariff accidentally compares Sylvania to Canada . I think it's pretty apt, the average Canadian boomer lives in a decaying, backward and incredibly stratified nation. Thanks to a steady diet of propaganda he views the rest of the world and his immediate and closely related neighbour nation in particular as a benighted hellhole and his own country as a beacon of progress and good sense. What little social mobility does exist in the country involves getting tapped by the right people, similar to the Blood Kiss. Common Canadians implicitly know this and therefore become so passive and unambitious that despite bilingualism being more or less required for career advancement in the country less than 10% of the population bothers learning both official languages.

Unfortunately, the Laurentian elite now consists of the servile toadies that its previous generations had recruited, and therefore runs the country into the ground with mindless UN trend chasing.

If you want a sanity check on boomers. I had to explain to one that no currency on earth is backed by gold anymore, and that Trudeau sold all of Canada's gold.
They are so quick to discard any information that harms their world view as "fake news" even if it's a news source they consider accurate. Then it simply becomes

Eh not really, our Senate isn't the same as the US given it's entirely appointed and is intended on acting as a chamber of "sober second thought" (no need to guess how well that works in practice). The lack of electoral legitimacy means the Senate isn't eager to rock the boat, and outside of the occasional grandstanding will quickly bend over and approve whatever Parliament passes - not doing so calls their cushy living into question, and calling it into question is one small step away from Senate reformation or abolition.

If I was a politician there's no way I'd wear a veil, turban, or some curtains, I'd speak to every community but I'd make it clear that I am here to promote Western culture and only in the official languages.

And I ain't stepping foot in places of worship to campaign either.

It's just insulting to Christians first of all, when was the last time Carney or Poilievre stepped foot in a Catholic Church to campaign?

Did you see Carney or Poilievre go to a Protestant community centre and pander? No.

The double standards are clear, Canadian politicians don't pander to Westerners, nor to Christians.

These snakes are pandering to the Sikh community? I am willing to bet you'll never see Carney nor Poilievre kiss the Pope's hand, but they'll gladly wear a turban and go into a Sikh temple. I haven't even seen Carney nor Poilievre do the sign of the cross. The double standards are ridiculous.

It's really just this to be honest. Those with power, positions, and jobs havnt really had to contend with the change, other than at a very superficial level. The equivalent "but I enjoy the Indian food, and we'll get more of it"

They didn't or don't have to live with these people, compete with them for jobs, etc.

If you fail, you're doing something wrong obviously. The system is good, the system is great!

But yeah, that's it with Canada tbh

I don't even like Indian food in general. It's overly spiced. And Indian people in general stink, literally and figuratively. Indian culture is literally pagan and heathen that worships cows and caste systems. The Sikh glorify machetes and knives for crying out loud. Forget about Jesus, they don't know him.

I'm sure there are exceptions, but they're not the majority. The exceptions are even mocked. I always support to people willing to fully assimilate, not just language, but most times they don't and if they do its shallow (speaking English and liking hockey). To fully assimilate means to embrace Canada's British and French heritage wholesale, not pick and choose like a cafeteria.

Many of these Canadian patriots I think are primarily Boomers and Xellennials (older Millennials) who grew up in Canada circa the 1950's to the 1990's.

They grew up with a large European majority, safer and cleaner communities, and affordable costs of living. They grew up in Canada full of beautiful environments, not ugly Third Worldness.

People my generation, the younger Millennials and Gen Z, we grew up seeing our neighbourhoods turn into Third World Indian and Moslem ghettos, expensive costs of living, ever pervasive homelessness, food banks, and literally normalized crime like theft.

I am not fighting for this damn country, the older generation got something so beautiful and we the young are handed down dirty diseased panties.

I like Indian food.

Its a pity the Indians aren't that good at it and the Japanese are better lmao

Seriously, there is some good Indian food out there, but its basically just slop. Half the Indian food is from the Portuguese or Central Asians anyways.

When I do want curry, I tend to eat it the same way the Japanese do I guess. Other than that, a lot of the foods are super fatty, sweet, and are just like fast food basically.

I like assimilation, I think its a basic requirement of any immigrant. Maybe you don't even have to fully assimilate- Ill say that here as controversial as this may be. The Japanese and Koreans don't fully assimilate, for example. I think its 100% better to assimilate, but if youre not- at least be from a chill, quiet, and at least decent culture and assimilate all the key points that you need to within the culture.

The worst is when you either get no assimilation (most Indians), or when you get all the minorities and half the native Canadians assimilating into the 'T.Dot culture fam' or whatever it is we have.

I think its partially that for safety, but its much simpler.

These people got theirs, they own their houses, were able to start their careers, actually have lives not largely impacted by these current economic conditions-

What do they care about the rest of Canada? Theyre middle management, upper management, management in general, and have their own homes. We will never have that luxury.

They literally think that because theyre doing fine enough, the rest of the populace must be too. Theyre retarded, unironically.

TL;DR is that CSIS warned that the PRC would influence the Chinese diaspora by repeating claims that the Conservatives will follow in Trump's footsteps to convince them to vote Liberal. What is key plank of the LPC platform? Oh, right. "Poilievre = Trump". Sounds like the Grits are doing the bidding of their masters in Beijing.

I am beginning to become increasingly unhinged as the election nears. I can't believe so many people support the last ten years of failure and want more of it. I made the mistake of scouring X and Reddit and I feel like I have terminal depression now. I deserve Mad at the Internet responses I know, but I don't know if I can tolerate another four more years of Christia Freeland, Mark Mendicino, Sean Fraser, and all the other worthless lackeys. I may have to scrounge up my savings and move to either Alberta or Florida. I am sick of being surrounded by people that love and defend their bonds of servitude.
