We already have FTA with Europe. It's Europe that doesn't want Canadian shit. They don't want anything out of Canada except LNG.

I was going to ask you why you believe that Canadian farms wouldn't be able to compete with the price of American dairy. However, after the following post, I assume your argument that it is an issue of scale? The quota system is the only thing protecting Canadian farmers from being swallowed up by American milk which would put the majority of Canadian diary farmers out of business.
I agree with this, but I don't understand why US dairy would be so cheap that it would put farmers out of business, considering the cost of transportation. If that was the case, then make the already existing tariff on foreign dairy higher.Everybody hates factory farms if they put more restrictions on there ability to stupidly make the margins so thin for family farmers who treat there animals humanely and dont flood the market lowering the price of there product that will create a lot more high value careers that can support middle class families on both sides of the border,
I hasten to add that this person is the poster child for the Reddit sub r/raisedbynarcissists, and their parents were liberal/bloc, and if there's that many narcissists/Cluster B Clusterfucks and people raised by narcissists and other Cluster B Clusterfucks (thus broken) in ol Quebec, it makes the political landscape there make a lot more sense.
It's 50/50 on whether this blows up further. CBC and the like will try and cover for it, but Carney is one hard question away from a temper tantrum over it to make it a running headline. Also has the added side effect of further attracting attention to Carney's investments which he doesn't want to talk about at all.The G&M are literally financially partnered with the Century Initiative. John Ivison on the NP also had to write an op-ed about how bad of an unforced fuck-up this is, this is someone who has openly declared on record that he's a personal friend of Carney's.
A few ago here Fairlife milk (ultrafiltered) started being sold, which temporarily was using milk solids from the US (NOT liquid milk - they were allowed to because they didn't yet have a Canadian quota). I tried it, there was nothing wrong with it. Tasted like milk. People were saying "Don't buy it, it's from the US!" (long before Drumpf tariffs) and I was rolling my eyes. Now they're using 100% Canadian milk solids to make this stuff. For the record I've never seen American milk products on store shelves. Even the fake plastic cheeses and those goyslop shelf stable milkshakes are still products of Canada made with Canadian milk.
Oh yeah I'm well aware there's basically culturally-normified Narcissism in many cultures. I call it "Cultural Narcissism". Asian cultures are especially prone, especially Jeets and Tiger Moms.YautjaWeeb said:I'm not doubting you but remember narcissism diagnosis have cultural coordinates. Normal in one is narc overdrive in another.
I'd also go as far as to say Canada is a giant covert Cluster-B country for all the substance abuse issues, talk of being the good guy, compassionate, etc. how the fuck could anyone do this to the youth of a nation and then describe themselves "compassionate". Or consider themselves in anyway a contributor to global pollution and environmental issues when you barely even exist and can't accomplish anything. The list is long.

We should have Quebecois Dairy to rival French DairyIf I could get French butter for less than $30 a stick it'd still be worth it. It's not just the States being artificially shut out of the country, though everyone likes to conveniently sidestep that.
Lots of places don't even have a full roster of candidates yet, I think April 7 is the registration deadline.I haven't even noticed. I guess all their ad money went to billboards in new york and DC.
We're never going to be able compete with EU quality wise. There environment is ideal for dairy production. They can have there herds in pasture year round which leads to a massive difference in quality. The G&M are literally financially partnered with the Century Initiative. My point is that it'd have to also compete with incomparably superior dairy products from France or Ireland or NZ without an obscene 300% markup. Which would be very funny to try and maintain while Carney is conjuring up ideas about Canada being in the EU.
That's the Rhino Partydo we have time to form a "fuck this shit" party who's goal is to tar and feather all politicians?
Carney is the Kamala candidate were Trudeau was the candidate they yanked off the ballot because it became too obvious that they had no chance at winning.Question: Are the parties allowed to change their main candidate at the last minute? Can they make Carney take all the blame for things, then suddenly pull a "Kamala instead of Biden" trick a week before?
Too bad it wasn't Freeland but the Liberal Party was smart enough to not have their very own Kim Campbell and decided to do a repeat of Michael Ignatief with Carney instead.Carney is the Kamala candidate were Trudeau was the candidate they yanked off the ballot because it became too obvious that they had no chance at winning.
