I meant more in the "importance to the world stage". No one knew what or who Ukraine was before the Russian invasion, just Geography and History students, and Canada is jokingly called "America's hat" due to its "lack of importance" to world politics, compared to Russia and USA, respectively. This is why I compared Canada to Ukraine.

Regardless, yes, you are right.

I really had my hopes up that Trump would annex Canada, or at least start with Alberta. Well at least hopefully we get an election called soon but Im not optimistic it will lead to anything much better.
