This person hit the nail on the head. The population is more than willing to forget how badly the Liberals destroyed everything due to vanity projects like mass Immigration and excessive regulations. Because of them Canada pissed the last decade away in terms of building critical infrastructure and re-arming to maintain an independent defence force. You can bring up how badly Justin fucked everything up and how Carney's Cabinet has all the same people and normies will cope by saying "but carney's different", citing that he was a central bank governor or whatever the fuck. Personally I wouldn't hire anyone for anything if they were recommended by the employee who constantly made a mess and embarrassed everyone around him but that's just me.

The very notion that people here are willing to somehow "spite" trump by keeping this Despotic government in power is one of the chief reasons I am considering a career change to escape this "country". We are a nation of useful idiots governed by people who know how to get us to vote against our best interest on a knee jerk basis, because the worst thing to be in any normie over 40's mind is american

The shtick is Carney won't be as reckless as an airhead pretty boy like Trudeau and "daddy's home" so now it can all be serious. Even though Carney's BOE tenure straight up rekked England and his advice to Trudeau has left Canada in the same situation. Carney is a much better put together globalist sociopath that earned it and got away with it, unlike Trudeau who had to cry and resign.

The military talk is a bit scary. Like cancelling F35s for eurofag jets. There will be an MIC response to that. Freeland floating the idea of "getting" nuclear weapons from the UK to point at America would have Canada getting Ukrained overnight and not one single country is going to fire one single bullet at America in Canada's defense. Can't tell how serious these people are but the trade plan is to poision the relationship and sentiment to the point of being able to move Canada into being forced to trade with Europe and China and make everything that is bad now, far worse.

4 months of knowing Trump is coming and is doing exactly what he said he would:

Zero barriers to inter-provincial trade removed.
Zero plans to build any pipelines.

I still think the whole nuke thing is batshit insane. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump is preparing a team to run things in the case that he's forced to march on parliament hill and force Canada to be controlled by America.

You're giving Canada too much credit. If the US invaded at 8AM, they'd have the government toppled and be in Ottawa before 12 noon.
 
Right now, all the US has to do is let us twist in the wind. What can we do about it? Where can we pivot? No a single step has been taken to mitigate anything. There has been lots of hot air, a photo op in the EU. But nothing of any substance.

Based on the behavior of Canadians, I already see the zrada/peremoga cycle starting to take hold. You also have a completely corrupted government that has fallen to foreign influence, and a resource-rich oblast that feels alienated and wants to join a bigger and more powerful neighbor.

Next step is state-backed anti-American protests filled with idiots with pots on their heads yelling "whoever doesn't hop is an American." Then Donbass Alberta will hold a referendum to separate from the rest of the country. Then the shooting starts.

A lot of it wasn't entirely up to Ukrainians. Their government was entirely composed of corrupt oligarchs who allowed foreign interests to do whatever they want in the country, including building army bases and holding exercises with foreign powers.

That said I don't think globohomo has the same reach and influence now as they had back in the early 00's when they started turning Ukrainians against Russia. But globohomo is far more desperate now and it doesn't seem like it's very difficult to turn Canadians against America, so who knows.

Lmao you overestimate Canadians determination to fight. No one will fight. All the guns are confiscated. The military is literally a tranny and retard job program.

Every single institutions in Canada are designed and operating for the purpose of oppressing citizen activities.

If America annexed Canada, Americans should offer one time GTFO card to everyone who wants to join globehomo Europe. Millions will leave. Also one time GTFO to foreign and permanent residents. None negotiable.

It will clean out approximately 20-30% of population immediately.
