Some additional information on this courtesy of a Leaf friend of mine:

Canada issued refunds for all American alcohol in government owned liquor stores. For privately owned stores, they did not. This means those stores have to sell their stock because they can't return it, or they will lose all the money they spent paying for it.

Apparently, all the American alcohol that Canada refunded from government owned stores are now sitting in a bunch of warehouses. Private stores can still buy this to sell, but once stock run out, it's out. The loophole to this is buying/storing with a third party, but we haven't gotten there yet.

I would hazard a guess that this will be the case for all American products for the foreseeable future. So don't be afraid to pick some American products from your favorite privately owned stores. I've even heard that some are reducing prices down to almost cost simply to get rid of it.

I'm guessing it's announced next Sunday. Supposedly Sundays are typical for calling snap elections since the actual election date has to be on a Monday and within the campaign length requirements it gives the ruling party 3 possible choices for dates instead of 2.

All the major parties are starting to open campaign offices for federal ridings, it makes zero sense to waste money on months worth of rent for a space you don't anticipate needing until October.

Most of the "American" liquor is owned by multinational corporations like AB-Inbev which is headquartered in Belgium. I expect that you will find the definition of what constitutes "American" is gonna get adjusted once people realize they are stuck with 100 dollars of "craft" Canadian whiskey and slavshit Vodka that is used to either fuel Ladas or prevent the population from reaching pension age.

Don’t get me fucking started - I have family up here saying that all the recent attempts at having their emails hacked is because of Elon and Trump, and not the fact that they used older email accounts where everyone who knew how to keep the servers secure has likely retired.

That I totally agree with. It looks to me though that recently there was a way to undermine Catholicism too. By politicizing it.

In general Christianity seems to be powerless against means of psychological warfare like mass immigration and Canada is a good example of it.

Be Catholic, mostly because of Quebec, and get flooded with third worlders. Why? Because everybody can become "Canadian".

EMJ is a patsy and I wouldn't be amazed if he is a Duginist. Meaning, if he secretly wants to see Whites gone/extinct, much like Aleksandr Dugin, yet uses a coat of "Catholic Christianity" to say such thing. I never would see him say that to a place like African or Asiatic countries.

I've been looking for a job for a long time now. I'm really starting to resent the large numbers of immigrants taking local jobs Trudeau let in the country. There just aren't enough jobs to go around as it is.

Canada has a pitiful labour productivity rate and gigantic immigration keeps making the denominator bigger while the numerator stays the same.

Our growth rate is up there with sub-saharan african countries for quite a while now. 11 percent in 6 years, all from immigration because our birthrate is negative.

Also keep in mind NS, PEI and NB have the population of a medium sized american city, combined.

Nationally our real GDP per capita went even worse in 2023 and 2024 and is only 44Kusd. WHich as you can see by the graph, means nationally we are poorer than your entire country.
