This was my home. I was born here, both my parents were born here, and my grandparents too. My dad's side of the family can trace their legacy in Canada back 400 years. Why can't I save my home?

I'm Canadian and I think Canada is a joke to the rest of the world. Also if I didn't have family here and everything wasn't so damn expensive all over the world I'd have Glady left.

I've been saying both these parties are shit for a while now. Likewise, I did point this out a few pages back when I mentioned how PP wanted to increase immigration and posts even further back. The only reason I say "Liberals are the entire reason we're in the mess" is because they're the ones (techincally) in power. Trust me, everything you're tell me? I already know. That said, the videos are nice to have on hand since I've been looking for them for a while.

I was named after my paternal ancestor who first came to Canada in the mid 1830s from Ireland. It would be poetic if I was the one that decides to leave Canada.

I’m tempted to, but where would I go. Plus I want to fight for my homeland.

He ended up having to wait until midnight then gave up as it was still several hours before he could be seen. He's home and taking today off to see if he can get something figured out today. The state of our hospital system scares me, as unless you're actively puking blood or bleeding in front of them they'll just keep ignoring you. If its something where you're not sure how bad it is but it's bad enough you might drop dead with little warning you're probably going to die.

I guess you'd have to remember the 80s when there were far fewer US products on shelves in Canada and anything good was a problem to get. Canadian retailers didn't want to sell US products then either becuase it cut into the usual people's rackets that the country was built upon. A few years of this shit and you'll be seeing levels of product selection and quality resembling either the 1960s-70s or the USSR.

Only companies saving anyone's asses in Canada during the pandemic were Costco and Walmart otherwise grocery prices would be double what they are now. Now Canadians cry out to be fucked mercilessly like it's rutting season. This can't be real can it?

I've really come around on accelerationism being a rightoid luxury belief.

All too real that exact scenario happened to a loved one recently (and he was young). I don’t know all the details but I imagine it went down like you described.

The Canadian healthcare system is a joke.
