The party requires that you forget everything that happened the past 10 years.

The party requires that you forget the previous leader.

The party requires that you forget the previous policy.

The party requires your undying fealty.
The party who has a Trump bootlicker as a leader

The party who is now trying to take claim for the successes Liberals had the past decade despite being nothing but a divisive pain in the ass

The party who has a leader who refuses to get a security clearance

The party that is dependent on Doug Ford's campaign advisors from pre-Covid

The party which elected Carney to run the Bank of Canada in 2008 which they now use as fodder about how great their policies were during that time.

PP is a literal fucking idiot supported by other literal fucking idiots. The Liberals have begun to clean house - the Conservatives need to get rid of PP for a chance in hell against Carney.

You're preaching to the wrong crowd about how "scary" Pierre is. He's ultimately shackled by the socialist establishment of the Laurentians who control not only the media but have also dictated the country's direction for far longer than any bog standard centre right politician like Pierre. It isn't a mistake that of the 4 major parties 3 of them are Left Wing

Security clearance would muzzle any effective Opposition Leader on issues of foreign interference. Tom Mulcair (Former NDP Leader) has publicly endorsed Pierre's decision to not take the briefing so this isn't an issue of political persuasion, It's a line of attack

You say the Liberals are cleaning House, but the majority of Trudeau's ministers are sticking around. Freeland, Joly, Leblanc, Miller, Gould etc. This is a game of musical chairs to see if they can get the livestock to vote them in again, and it's clearly worked on you.

No you won't as the PP side has decided the Libs cannot be trusted even when their Leader verbatim says everything you all wanted to hear him say in his acceptance speech while making immediate promises to cut taxes. If you all actually think this guy hung up all of his luxury jobs to get on TV just to lie to you fucking retards about the carbon tax, you're literally hopeless. To say this guy is lieing when he has no history at all and PP has decades of an abysmal career jumping on every right wing band wagon is just delusional cope.
>Wow It's another mentally retarded harridan from the man-hate thread, how totally unexpected

Our government is not run like America's where our Prime Minister has unilateral ability to make and pass laws. It all comes down to his MP's voting in lock step as well. That is why it is utterly fucking foolish to assume after ten years the Liberal party will do some magical 180 degree turn because a small handful of people got shuffled out of the deck.

Company I skate for recently undercut there local manufacturer to have everything drop-shipped from China. The amount of "Blems" and warps in the trash are huge compared too the Canadian manufacturing place, yet "they still sell money"

With that, I just went direct too the manufacturer now. And I get discounts and options on "protos" if I choose now.

I just want a Canadian Maple deck, how hard is that these days.
I wouldn't recommend that if you want to stain it. Maple doesn't take well to finishing. It doesn't soak into the grain.

Here's a handy dandy little video for all the people who've decided to eat the LPC's slop

Relax, man. I'm being very reasonable and civil with you, you don't have to lose your shit over this.

No you won't as the PP side has decided the Libs cannot be trusted even when their Leader verbatim says everything you all wanted to hear him say in his acceptance speech while making immediate promises to cut taxes.
I addressed this, I'm happy that he's proposed we do that and I hope that going forward he continues to make some of the same proposals that Poilievre has in terms of addressing crucial issues and proposing simply explained solutions, but you'll have to forgive me if I don't exactly trust it considering he's been attached to the most nontransparent and frankly deceitful prime minister we've ever had.

If you all actually think this guy hung up all of his luxury jobs to get on TV just to lie to you fucking retards about the carbon tax, you're literally hopeless.
Mark Carney is 60 years old. By the time he'd be done a potential job as Prime Minister, he may be well into his 70s and ready to retire. Hanging these jobs up temporarily isn't exactly a big sacrifice on his part, he's entering the last stages of his life and attempting to do something big with it. Besides, do you honestly think this doesn't make him more marketable as a hire in the future? You don't think he'll be able to expand his contacts being a leader of the free world? That he won't sell books or get paid to speak anywhere or already have a job lined up for him in the future? Let's not pretend this is altruism, this is personal advancement with greater benefits at the last leg of his life. There's nothing wrong with that either but let's not lie to each other.

To say this guy is lieing when he has no history at all
I didn't say he lied, I said Trudeau lied and he's been attached to his cabinet too long for me to trust anything coming out of that camp. Now, you can criticize me for applying some guilt by association and fair enough, I can take that criticism but Carney has in fact lied quite a bit. I'll be happy to link a list of things to you but honestly I don't even think you give a fuck enough to read it.

PP has decades of an abysmal career, jumping on every right wing band wagon is just delusional cope.
He's had a reasonable career as a politician. I wouldn't classify it as noteworthy, it's fairly humble but I also wouldn't classify it as "taking credit for shit he never did" which is precisely what Carney does every day and has for quite a while.

The truth is far less remarkable. The Canadian banking system is far too regulated for those types of schemes, where borrowers, at least at the time, were subjected to much more rigorous vetting than in the United States. It is a reality that predates Carney’s time and decisions made while governor at the Bank of Canada.

What did Carney actually do? He rapidly lowered the interest rate starting in late 2008. This led to increased borrowing due to attractive low monthly repayment amounts. Low interest rates caused savings to plummet, and Canada seems to have been in a state of dependency on low rates ever since. Low rates encourage borrowing and spending, and Canadians now have the highest household debt to disposable income ratio in the G7. In hindsight, Canadians need strong debates about the wisdom of this move by Carney.
And about his time at the Bank of England:
He claims Carney “made a whole series of mistakes under his management,” that “growth was consistently weak,” that “the Bank printed way too much money, stoking an asset bubble, and ultimately triggering the highest inflation rate in the G7.”
Man, both of these things seem to be consistent with our current economic policy, that's really weird, it's almost like he was a financial advisor for our government and his policies have led us directly to where we are right now, which is a vote of non-confidence after a government shut down for 6 months...during a trade war. Sounds like a smart pick for ECONOMIC DECISIONS.

Also, and look I didn't wanna mention this but not for nothing, he's a fucking life long banking executive and member of Goldman Sachs. This man has spent his life absolutely drilling your fucking asshole until it bleeds economically, I don't know why you think it's a great idea to give them the reigns of governmental power. Politicians are scum but bankers who want to be politicians are fucking Satanic.

jumping on every right wing band wagon is just delusional cope.
Yeah, he's a politician. That's what they do, they find current issues that matter to the people and they make it worth their time particularly if they need to de-throne the current government who doesn't give a fuck about doing that unless someone's penis needs to be cut off or someone needs to die from an overdose.

So, I get that this thread basically exists as a place to vent in the most pessimistic manner possible, but take a breather. Mark Carney is the most astroturfed, push-polled POS ever, even worse than Kamala. Rate me rainbows, but I still think he gets his ass kicked in an election, not the least because his French is so awful he risks getting the fatal Ignatieff treatment in Quebec.

The reason why people like Poilievre is simple:

  1. He presents a problem that we're all dealing with that goes largely unaddressed by the current government and, if it is addressed, the solution is ineffectual.
  2. He presents a perfectly reasonable solution to the problem that seems feasible to implement.
That's it. It's not hard for Liberals to do this. If Carney can start doing that, people will vote for him. I'll vote for him I don't give a shit, between you and me I just want my groceries to not be so fucking expensive and I want my rent to go down, but until he can start to consistently do that I think it's safe to assume that much like his predecessor who he advised for, a lot of what he says can be openly dismissed as bullshit. It's just exceptionally difficult for anyone to believe the Liberal party after all these years. There is a whole decade of bullshit, it is a monstrous gap of mistrust that people have to cross and that will only start to heal when the Liberal party can start to take some accountability and can start implementing some changes. I don't really want to give them that chance and much of Canada at this juncture feels pretty much the same.
No, people like him because he's the leader of the Blue Team. It's sadly that simple. People really don't know much more than that. They don't know he's a career politician for almost his entire adult life. They don't know that, as early as 2022, he wanted to jack up the amount of jeets we take in. Has he said anything about scrapping (or at least trimming back) the TFWP that cause all these issues in the first place? Fuck no. He's a little fucking snake that has the audacity to label himself a "true conservative".

So your plan is to destroy your own country, instead of fixing it, and running to another country that has it better? Hmm, where have I heard this playbook before…View attachment 7074293

Einstein, unless you can deport 10,000,000 so-called racialized Canadians who are overwhelmingly not even Christian or Westernized, what is there to fix?

Canadian patriots can't do basic f*cking math.

I considered the 2024 US elections a litmus test. If Harris won I accepted that America was dead and would cease to exist by their next elections.
I consider Canada's next election to also be a litmus test, however we still don't have any good options. if the liberals easily win or even get a full majority then Canada is dead. If the Conservatives win we might be a bit less dead. If the PPC somehow gain enough seats that the Conservatives are forced to form a coalition with them we might be not fucked.
Id agree to that.

I would say that if the conservatives win, maybe Canadians have some semblance of self-interest (it depends on why the conservatives won, and if it is over immigration- at least we can acknowledge the problem)

But if the liberals win, if it does become something along the lines of 'We are more upset about Trump than we are about China applying tariffs to us (yes, they also did over the past few weeks), selling off of resources, of the Indians;

Then its a confirmation that Canadians are silly children who take culture war issues and place their level of importance above actual existential threats.

The fact that the liberals are already polling higher kind of shows that, frankly

Being a second tier American is still better than, well, tax piglets. Also known as....Canadians.

These Canadian patriots can't do basic math. Being annexed by America would double our incomes overnight. Hawaii and Alaska are richer than us.

Canadians are basically tax cattle for the Third World, basically all of our taxes go to pay for multiculturalism and mass immigration programs. Most of our taxes go to education, an education system which indoctrinates social liberalism, multiculturalism, and mass immigration.

Every day and every time. The average Canadian either consumes Hollywood, and if they're Pajeet, Bollywood. You have no idea. Just go to the average Canadian theatre, half of the movies are Hollywood, and the other half Bollywood. Even the so-called White towns are like this.

We have delusional Canadian so-called patriots LARPING (live action roleplaying) as either British Loyalists from 1812 or Second World War colonial soldiers.

The reality is that Canadian identity is to put it succinctly American jealousy and Indian diarrhea.

Come at me Canadian patriots. These people are so lacking an identity because they sold themselves out to multiculturalism and mass immigration.

Enjoy being buttraped by America and shit on by India.
I never asked for this shit, fuck the selling out and brainwashing of the majority to the current way of things started before i was even born and was fully in place by the time i was grown up
