No this is wrong. The United States are hooked up in parallel, so if one of them fails you still can get power to the switch and turn your lights on/off.

My work is going wild right now over this tariff thing. Our headquarter is holding emergency meeting with all our branches right now. I am about to receive more words on current situation.

We have branches in US and Canada. Mostly Canada, so our exposure is insane.
 
Is it bad that I'm okay with the tariffs because with my new job I replaced a guy that was retiring but didn't get enough time to train so with the tarriffs I'm not so overwhelmed while I try to get up to speed?

The tariffs are going to suck, all across the board. Get ready for stuff to get more expensive, liberals to get crazier, etc.

The consolation though is that at least were all already used to it sucking. We've been through and are going through this shit. Others are in for a rude awakening. Bunker down, and enjoy their whining basically. Lets just all try to get through this together

I know I keep derailing the thread with Diagolon talk, but that screenshot of Castro Jr reminded me that Jeremy MacKenzie criticized his audience and all the Twitter Freedom keyboard warriors on his pod a few months back that they talk tough that they would kick Trudeau's ass if they ever got the chance in Minecraft.

But in reality, your average Twitter user or Poilievre supporter is too fat and out of shape to ever succeed even if they ever had the opportunity

If Trump and Danielle Smith introduce to Albertans an offer to join the States, with everything clearly laid out for things like trade, pension, medical, immigration (with ICE coming in to help evict noncitizens and maybe loophole citizens) and overall offering a a good deal that is better then staying a province of Canada, do you think Albertans would vote to join America?

Then Trump would sent the millitary in to rescue (future) American citizens from a hostile and invading nation. Or otherwise jack up tarriffs and such so Canada is too busy imploding to fight back.

Plus how would Ontario and Quebec react if Trump only wants Alberta? Will they admit that they are dependent on Alberta's oil revenues?

I hope the tariffs hit those who voted Liberal and NDP the most. Greens, Cons, PPC, even the godamn Communist Party didn't want this.
