I love how people are listing Canadian things and Tim Horton's is on every list, but it was bought by Burger King like a decade ago.

Dear Leafs, some of you, I assume, are good people. Maybe we can 1:2 swap one of you with two of our Indians or illegal Central Americans. After all, importing people is good for the economy right?

I assume the long term result of this trade war BS is going to be accidentally saving the Liberal Party and letting them fuck Canada even harder. (At least, until the jeets start forming their own Hindu and Sikh nationalist parties eventually. But après moi, le déluge.)

There's already a lot of activity from Dec2024 bot accounts stoking support for Trump and encouraging Canadians to hand over the keys to Washington(Israel).

To be in support of killing Canadians which is the on the ground reality consequence of Trumps imperial ambitions is grotesquely anti-Canadian and textbook treason.

I support American citizens in their continued struggle against their foreign occupiers as we suffer our own. The Americans that are enthusiastic about harming our citizens to "own the libs" are objectively an enemy.

Trade wars often lead to hot wars - because they're both hostile in nation.

We are being economically blackmailed into submission by a global empire that has spent the last 25 years fulfilling Talmudic prophecy and killing millions of people.

seems a little bit sensationalist - I think a lot of people are overreacting with the annexation/invasion talk. There also seems to be a weird (to me) subtext that somehow Americans have an obligation to us over themselves. It's really our own fault we're in this situation; we've refused to shore up our own industry and squandered a lot of opportunities. Hopefully this will serve as the impetus to set ourselves on the right path. the squalid state of affairs was always going to continue until things got unbearably bad, so it seems to me like we're being done a favour.
 
I heard that boomers are cleaning out Ontario Costco's just like the pandemic (carts full of meat, paper towel, tp, etc) and lightly panicking. Booze too of course.

Remember like Trudeau said you are all in this together... with the boomers who voted all of this into being and the first thing that crosses their mind is making sure they get theirs.

Went to the LCBO today to stock up. Mostly just bought some scotch and some Newfie rum (Screech).

I already basically only buy Ontario wines (North shore of Lake Erie) and some from the Niagara Region. Kind of BS how we don't have inter-provincial free trade so we can't get BC wines from the Okanagan region.
