I'm over Canadian media. Why are we collectively so cringe? It was like a funny haha groan when I first saw someone say this but a news headline? Really? Not only that, they ruined it as it had quickly become accepted as Trudeauver - Trudeau-over is a mockery of the mockery. Again, I ask, why are we so cringe?

The only people who get any attention from our country are these cringey, uncharismatic, idiots. No wonder Canada is a joke to the rest of the world.

To more than double Canada's debt since taking office as well as hundreds of billions of dollars in deficit as well as a severe increase in homelessness, an inflation that's gone significantly worse, continued negligence in the healthcare system as well as promoting the idea of euthanasia and letting trannies clog up already long lines of the wait list and giving them the highest priority while people who are seriously in need dies and had to go to the United States to get their health care, freezing people's bank accounts for demonstrations, taxing people money to fund wars killing people overseas amongst other scams? In a just world, they would've had hundreds of thousands of life sentences and trillions of dollars sued from them would they not be executed. Really makes you think how a lot of people who had the power to fuck over millions still get away with it years later even when it comes time to their own deaths.

They literally cannot cope with the fact that for all his bluster Trump may very well mean what he says and will do it. Its very easy for national leaders to get "big fish in little pond" syndrome. Canada's leadership in particular has this haaaaaaaard. They have had almost 100 years of amicable and sleepy relations with the fucking goliath on their borders. They have acted like there is nothing they can do to upset the wubby blanket that is US protection and good relations, while at the same time take the existence of that for granted and pretend they are somehow more important then they actually are.

Justin should have listened to the sage advice of his Step-Father as he told the Washington Press Club in 1969 what it was like being the USA's northern border.

Trumps trolling I think is done with malice aforethought. He's letting everyone know in Ottawa that Trudeau is not in the good graces of the Imperial court, and the Elephant is prepared to not just "twitch and grunt", its prepared to trample him. Trudeau really only has himself to blame. His speeches in the commons during the trucker protests were watched by hundreds of thousands of the USA, and his claim that the truckers were supported by the dastardly foreign Americans for Evil Nazi ends did not go unnoticed. Him and his ministers gleefully interjected themselves in the political and cultural uproar the Covid pandemic caused, and made alot of enemies in Washington DC and around the various border States while doing so. Him willingly holding himself out as a darling for the American Far Left also did little to endear him with the US Republican Party.

He was supremely arrogant in his relationship with the USA, and its biting him in the ass now. The Elephant isn't asleep anymore. Its awake and wondering why some asshole has been kicking it in the nuts while it was asleep.

Pretty sure it was Andrew Scheer who led to Bernier's exit from the CPC, after he won the leadership against Bernier with backing from the dairy lobby.

Bernier and the PPC already existed and were running candidates by the time Scheer lost to Trudeau in 2019.

O'Toole became CPC leader after the 2019 loss but before the 'rona was unleashed.

That assumes that America absorbs anything east of where Highway 1 becomes Highway 17.

Anyone who has ever done a road trip from east to west will see that Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan have built a long and straight four lane highway all the way to the Ontario border, at which it becomes a windy two lane highway you wouldn't want to drive a motorhome on. Canada is already physically bisected, with most trade from the east and west detouring through America. If America absorbed Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, nobody in Ontario would even notice.

The World Economic Forum are full of creepy people who happen to have serious blood on their hands. Everyone I know, even the ones who are LGBT, has called out the Anti-vaxxers and well as called out the Climate Change Deniers, even they hate them. That's how unpopular they really are. I don't remember a single person who has any reverence for the World Economic Forum. Nobody has elected those fuckers into power and people question why they are in power anyways.
