A whistleblower from HSBC has released some pretty credible info on the Chinese fake income scams to obtain mortgages which the Chinese somehow use to launder money. It’s a huge racket and they say they switched to this because all the casinos in Canada were closed.

What? I never was someone wanting to send my kids to University unless I had the money (I still am trying to save at 29 to afford my University) nor has my family ever taken vacations.

Not sure who had such a great life, but my experience has not been like that.

Felix Rex once observed that the power of the middle class in the post-WWII order was something of a historical aberration and I can't help but wonder if that is the case. Frankly, I view western recognition of the People's Republic of China as the first domino to fall as it led to the post-Cold War hollowing out of Western industry because a Chinese peasant was willing to do the same low-skill job for shit pay. Now those jobs are moving elsewhere in Southeast Asia because even China's getting too expensive. It all comes down to what is the modern aristocracy (corporations, politicians, etc.) wanting to impose what is technocratic feudalism on the unwashed masses.

Oh, I'm coming around on the whole argument that the purpose of mass migration is to drag the entrenched populace of the developed world down. It wouldn't surprise me if the plutocrats at the WEF are looking at the looming population crash and devising ways to preemptively loot the dwindling working and middle classes. Our economy and the welfare state completely depend on infinite growth (which the plutocrats use as a fig leaf to justify immigration), but societal changes since the industrial revolution combined with cost of living have disincentivized people from having children to sustain pensions, healthcare, infrastructure, etc. Fuck. I keep hearing that Zoomers aren't even having sex anymore, which is a scary thought.

The problem with Canadians is that have been far too complacent, deferential, and willfully ignorant of the world outside their cubicle. Every normie believes that the government cares about them and will devise some brilliant plan to keep our beloved public services running, that is farthest thing from the truth. Government is the greediest entity on the planet because its sole purpose is to extract and redistribute wealth as it see fit, and always for self-interest. Compounding this is that the state has the monopoly on violence so they will do it with impunity and collaborate with the corporate snakes (READ: military-industrial complex) to achieve their selfish ends.

But who is committing the crimes?

Statistics Canada released a report entitled, “Firearms and Violent Crime in Canada, 2022,” which found that ILLEGAL gun owners commit the majority of gun-related homicides. Out of 113 homicides involving a gun, only 24 deaths were committed by legal gun owners. Out of 49 homicides involving illegally obtained firearms, 36 were unregistered and not legally owned at the time of the crime. There were only 8 cases involving firearms stolen from legal gun owners, but 5 of those 8 guns were purchased illegally from legal owners.

Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights CEO Rod Giltaca stated that he believes the Liberal government, NDP, and Bloc Quebecois have been targeting law-abiding citizens deliberately. “This coalition government has bragged endlessly about their implementation of “the most significant in gun control in a generation”. Not only are more Canadians left terrorized, dead, and injured than in the last 30 years, but they’ve dealt more damage to gun clubs and the law-abiding firearms community than any government in the history of our country.”

I have been hearing rumors that Justin Trudeau rubber stamped the pandemic treaty early and bribed the mainstream media to not report on it. If this is true, Canada is fucked.

Its kind of this, I would say. Post WW2 is definitely a historical aberration, but not one that had to be a one off thing.

Really, the social security system was designed with the Greatest Generation in mind, and honestly- it worked well and I think they deserved it.

They got through the depression, massive societal change, they won the cold war, they fought through the early cold war, etc. They were instrumental in the rise of North America, at the cost of Europe, and they would all essentially die or retire between the 80s to the 2000s.

If you want an ideal time to be born into, in North American society at least, it'd probably be the 30s or 40s. Too young to serve, but just young enough to experience the peak of our culture and to actually retire in a world that was largely consistent (at least in terms of employment standards) from the birth to retirement. You do still have some people from the 30s and 40s that are still around, but by and large- the current shenanigans have largely not affected them too much. They got theirs.

By contrast, lets look at the boomers.

They're really about to get fucked, if we're being honest- probably starting with those born in the 50s who are retiring now, and those born in the 60s.

Its not Canada, but its the same rough demographic-a new aberration is that it used to be that the homeless tended to be in their 30s or 40s, and now the largest percentage are 55+

The 401k is failing them, social security can't cover the expenses associated with housing, food, and other utility bills, many don't even have houses, etc. The lucky ones have houses that they own, but that they're currently locked into because they can't sell them- because there's nowhere to go to, and because theyre ladled with debt that they can never hope to pay off because of lifestyles we've been pushing since the 80s

Normally we all dislike boomers, but I genuinely feel sorry for them on this one. Most millennials were sold a false bill of goods by boomers, but at the least most of us are able bodied, can survive, are in our late 20s to 40s and Im assuming will come out of this on the other end of whatever wacky decade we're moving into. The boomers are going to be spending most of this time losing their facilities, with less health, no way to recover, and will see their quality of life just diminish year, after year, after year amid their 'ideal retirement'. I don't even think social security will even last the decade, if the rate by which we're going is any indicator (we're taxing the banks extensively now, to try and get some of that money- which is going to have all sorts of wacky results)

I think that a lot of this was by their own design, in the offshoring craze that started in the late 70s and really kicked off in the 80s (which the GG also had their own part in). That part shouldn't be understated- their insistence on, and overinflation of the value of education, eliminating of unions and insistence that cheap and made in mexico or china was the solution to 70s stagflation, really, really burnt the last things the GG got for our culture.

But if you think of it in terms of a cycle:

-The greatest generation had a tough youth, and the remaining 2/3rds of their life was amazing,
-Boomers had an amazingly easy youth and mid-life, and now its very likely that the last 1/3rd of their life will be awful and theres zero they can do about it,
-Millennials seem to have had a tough youth, and while the heights won't be as great as the GG, we have the potential to fix things ourselves and have a good mid-life and retirement. Maybe that last parts cope, but at least we're going to have our youth during the upcoming crisis this decade. The part where thats difficult is that many, many millennials are also pozzed.

Gen X Im not going to get into because actually fuck them, thats Trudeaus generation and all the laptop class basically. If there's any solace, its that by the time they start to retire, millennials will be the bigger voting block in deciding what that retirement actually looks like.

I can't see many of us giving boomers the respect of "you earned your retirement" the same way we gave the greatest generation that (this is, outside of immediate family). I think, seeing the Indians here, the failure of social services, the degradation of our publicly funded institutions, etc- that most people with sense in Canada are going to trust socialized funds a lot less, and go more towards the individualist route and caring for their families and communities directly, rather than through government schemes. Why donate to state run social security that is just going to Indians?
 
I am worried about my parents a little, but they are mostly going to be okay. My dad and stepmom have things figured out on their end and my mom and stepdad are debt free and should be able to live carefully. Me and my sisters will likely have to help mom out so they don't end up living with my stepdads mom.

I am convinced Canada is gonna get even more fucked up when summer starts to roll around. Canada has shown support for the Pandemic Treaty along with the United States and France. If they give their sovereignty away to these psychopaths. Vaccine Mandates along with other restrictions such as lockdowns could come to a return. I told my parents that I am leaving the country before this gets ratified. Never want to become part of this lunacy even again as it has driven me crazy. The only way I'd stay is if Canada rejects it.

Trudeau is not representative of GenX. He was raised, groomed and told from the day he was born that he was aristocracy and sure enough made it so. The WEF creetins, plutocrats and european aristocracy all wear that same royal mask. GenX did not invent political correctness, boomers did as one of their many sociological experiments and contagions.

Boomers were also the original "laptop class" and invented the entire concept for themselves. In fact, a good number who still work and go to their corporate daycares are still pecking away at their little Thinkpads just like they were in the 90s. Just like they still are in parliament and every c-suite around the world.

Gonna be a heavily regional thing but every GenXer I know is pretty fucked unless they cashed in on tech or real estate and didn't get ass raped in a divorce. GenXers OD and suicide at high rate but will never be statistically significant like homeless boo-hoo boomers. Not because GenX males are also not massively homeless too, but because there are far fewer to begin with demographically speaking.

Don't know any poor boomers just ones sitting in ~2 million dollar paid off homes with multi million dollar retirement funds that are doubling or tripling every 5-10 years and act like they are going to be sucking dick for cheeseburgers behind the McDonalds dumpster because the markets have not handed them 8 figure net worths yet. I could see it would really suck to be a poor boomer. Mind you, it must have been nice to have golden opportunities shoved in your face your whole life to the point where you get so used to it that you do not act on any. Most young adults now are going to be on the Smith and Wesson retirement plan no matter what they do. There will be no happy post-ww2 style happy ending for their suffering, only a boot on the face forever thanks to massive unpayable boomer made debt.

Gonna be cool to see millennials gut their own retirements since at least half of the entire generation have the same retirement savings rate and retirement building habits as GenX. And realistically, boomers are going to be collapsing the system long before it becomes an issue. If by some stroke of luck boomers can't get it done, immigrant retirees will finish it all off.

Trudeau isn't even Canadian. His real father is Cuban and he grew up in Klaus Schwab's Young Global Leaders boarding school. He never grew up as a Canadian, but to be a generic politician that put's the WEF's interests above the nation he belongs to.

Trudeau isn't even that, his brother that died was the one being groomed for politics. He was the uh...dud. But after the death of his brother, the family, both the Trudeaus and the Sinclairs(Margaret Trudeau's family) scrambled to find an heir apparent with the right name. Trudeau Sr's third son didn't want it, and just makes lousy documentaries now, so Justin became the new heir.

It was even a fight to get Justin to be allowed to run. None of the party wanted wanted him to run, and wanted nothing to do with him. Finally it was all that money that was offered if they made a place for him is what forced Stephane Dion's hand.

Asgard help us if JT's kids are groomed as successors and that may be the case as he took his eldest to the APEC (I believe) and G20 meetings... granted, that may be been Justin using his progeny as props. He has a history of doing that as he brought his daughter on stage for a largely-empty fundraiser in Edmonton. Not only is Trudeau a narcissistic fuckwit, but his ex-wife AKA the ovum donor is a ditz and that is me being kind. Those kids will depend solely on the family name to get anywhere in life.

Do not cancel Disney Plus! They've got all the dubs. Use it to help you escape. I switched all my cartoon watching to Spanish about six months ago. I started from zero and now I understand at least half. There's no way I would be motivated to spend an hour a day consistently on Spanish otherwise. It's called the "comprehensible input" strategy. If you want to get out and you're not sure how, this could give you the edge.

The Trudeau name is effectively Mudd now, no one with half a brain will give an ounce of support to his kids unless they demonstrate the charisma and intelligence to earn it.
