These guys are coping really hard. The report specifically says that the warning is for the area around the beach only. The rest of the lake is apparently fine.

Saw that the White Boy Summer chads mocking nons in the parking lot were some teens from Peterborough, ON who got phonebooked, charged with Uttering Death Threats & are being prosecuted as a Hate Crime.

Some of the commies were suggesting the jeets were actually Filipinos.

Can any of you lads fill me in about what exactly the deal is the with the natives? I keep up with Canadian news and I feel like every month I see something like "Ogawaga Tribe is ceded land from Alberta school district" or "Kwando elders demand free access to Lake Big Tiddy" and what have you. It sometimes gives the impression that there's like this native mafia strongarming the government into giving them things and then crying "genocide" when they don't get what they want

That's sort of basically what it is. The Native Industrial Complex is worth millions every year and is in the billions total spent. Basically, as I understand, it starts with this thing called the Indian Act from way back that basically set the outlines for reservations and aboriginal status. Canada's constitution was updated in the 80s and has part about native rights in it. From there, lawyers and interest groups team up with the different tribes and sue the government for any and all sorts of different things.

For example, when the dead indigenous children thing happened a few years back the provincial and federal governments released millions of dollars in funds for other reservations to go searching for ground "anomalies".

When things like development projects happen the bands can send out small militia of unemployed residents to sabotage and protest.

There's other dimensions to it too, while a lot of reservations are poor and said to have third world conditions, there are others that are quite well off. There's a criminal element at play as well, with native gangs running prostituion and drugs in the Praire cities and some of the reservations that straddle the border involved in smuggling.

And of course, all through this the media is default sympathetic to anything the natives do.

It's a pretty big topic actually, and it's hard to find anything written honestly. If you're interested, I recommend looking up Frances Widdowsen, she was a professor, University of Montreal I believe. She's written a few books on the NIC and has a youtube channel about it. She has obviously been fired from her position, in recent years they have really clamped down on speaking openly about any of this. The NDP was pushing a bill forward to make it criminal to deny residential school genocide. Forewarning, she is a filthy Marxist, but I read one of her more recent books and found it quite sound. Her point was the current system of kowtowing to the Native bands on everything and pretending they are their own nations has found the billions spent over the years only marginally lifted aboriginals out of poverty.

edit Another example of the native mafia lawfare - years ago the Supreme Court ruled the constitution allowed aboriginals to hunt and fish without a license if it was in order to obtain a 'moderate living'. Recently, on the east coast a native reservation bought a majority stake in Clearwater, a major fishing and seafood company. Smaller native fishing operators have also started up (with boats and gear funded on goverment loans of course) and the reservations decided to make their own licensing system. For those not in the know, the fisheries are heavily controlled by the federal government through licensing and quotas. You can't simply just go out and trap lobster or fish cod, you have to pay for a license to do it, right? So, since the natives are actually their own independent Nations that actually own all the land, well they'll just make their own damn system. As you can guess this hasn't gone over well with the local, established fisherman. The feds have quietly not endorsed this second licensing system and told the natives they have to follow the law, but from what I have heard from my lobster fisherman buddy the DNR basically isn't enforcing anything. Which has led the local fishermen to team up and go out on trips to cut the traps that the native boats have set out. There's basically a lobster race war brewing out here which has already resulted in some arson and violence.

The Native situation in Canuckistan is essentially the parallel to blacks in America. But without the ultimate Voldemort "nigger" no-no word.

The cognitive dissonance of stronk, infallible noble savage environmental warriors while simultaneously perpetual oppressed victims on welfare living on reservations with no economic prospects, full of chug-on-chug crime, addictions, domestic violence & kiddy diddling.

All of the oppression narratives remain unchanged despite being bequeathed preferred status, sovereignty & institutional power. Along with an entire built-in sentencing leniency system in the courts where an entire class (including Pretendians) get clemency because of racial identity & historic narratives.

I think in some ways yes. Not to be pedantic, but just for @PyramidBox and anyone else unfamiliar looking on from the outside, a couple of big differences between the two would be: a. population, IIRC natives I believe are like 5% of the total population in Canada with a portion of them living in remote reservations, (I think they are actually now outnumbered by another imported minority now) versus the American black population which is like what, 15-20%?; and b. the natives have up to this point probably been more successful in extracting gibs from the government.

There's also probably been a lot more intermingling between them and Canadians. One of the officially recognized aboriginal groups is the Metis, descendants of French fur traders who took native wives. I actually ran into a local politician recently, he's "Indigenous". The man was literally paler than me. There are a lot of white people who will claim native ancestry to get the fishing and hunting rights lol. There was actually some artist or musician a while ago who got caught fraudulently pulling an Elizabeth Warren because it's I guess the only way for artists to get grants from the government these days.

The natives do commit a disproportionate of crime, take cues from American black movements (they are after all Canadian at least legally speaking, riffing off Americans is customary) and get catered to and sucked off by the right and the left in particular. I never grew up near a reservation but from what I know from others who have basically I gather the same sort of tensions exist between the locals and the natives as is with blacks and whites in America.

One thing I encountered in university is that middle class professional people from the east treat "Native" like the N word while in the rest of the country it is the preferred & commonly used term.

I swear it would be the funniest thing if the Canadian hitler is an Indian, it would fit too much. It would also parallel the whole "hitler was secretly a jew" conspiracy but said conspiracy is true.

I'm hoping for more big government payouts to the various native tribes over the treaties that the government violated. Yes, it's coming out of our taxes, but it's going straight into the hands of white people. When the natives around Sudbury got their payouts not only did a bunch of fent bums disappear but every dealership and every store selling outdoors stuff did record business. If you can get your hands on an Arctic Cat dealership or gun store right before the next payout hits you'll be a millionaire overnight!

Chug is the only official term IMO. It's been around forever, nicely encapsulates the native love of anything alcohol, and easily rolls off the tongue. Plus it hasn't been hit with the political correctness ban hammer yet so yelling it at the latest act of Chug retardation in the Fort Macleod or Swift Current gas stations won't see the Karens and uni student pass-throughs hold you up from heading home because you uttered a no-no word.
 
Excellent answers all around gentleman, appreciate it. I watched some of the Frances Widdowsen videos, the grave stuff is just ridiculous. It seems like almost every Anglosphere country have populations of formerly victimized people who suffered centuries ago and have been milking it ever since, doing nothing to actually change their lot in life because "well I'm native and our lives suck so why should I bother trying at all." Nice of the government to enable that with benefits and healthcare and all that lol
