What really gets my goat is all the money you see going to wind farms that take up vast amounts of agricultural land, particularly in the eastern provinces. Provinces on our east coast don't get earthquakes like they do out west, so building a few small nuclear reactors instead of these loud, space wasting wind farms makes infinitely more sense to me. Plus, reactor maintenance creates a whole bunch of skilled jobs and would be a boon for the economy in provinces that historically have required big subsidies. Imagine if the eastern provinces could prosper from selling excess energy they create down to places like Vermont.

We don't even need nuclear power in Eastern Canada. There is more than enough hydro potential in Quebec and Labrador to power the eastern provinces. Construction just needs to be properly managed so it doesn't turn into a government boondoggle as it has in the past.

Went to Staples recently to print some documents, and was having some massive retardation being unable to transfer my document from the usb-drive to the printer.

I had asked 5 different Indian people to help, each and every one of them to follow on screen instructions, I swear to Christ I have been, they wouldn't even approach the printer, they all huddled up at the front desk speaking Punjabi and having a great time. There were two older white ladies trying to print off some paperwork as well and I had too help them.

I've never had to speak to a manager before, but this was kinda insane. They don't even know how to do work they are assigned too. After I got their manager Sukhdip out, he repeated did you follow the on screen instructions. That was the moment I had lost all hope.

Ended up going to a printshop nearby, they grabbed my usb, plugged it into their PC, and printed immediately. I was just thankful we have a honkey old timey printing store here that isn't a massive conglomerate

They really love attacking normal folks on local social media as well. They are not at all too good for Facebook even though Zuckerberg is awful. That is where they can target average suburban moms and boomers and just folks who normally would be commenting on posts about lost cats or sharing their favourite place to buy some special item. This is where they can fulfill a confirmation bias when a boomer slips up and accidentally uses the wrong words to complain about a local crackhead who stole his lawn mower. If leftists primarily worked in these fields to the point there was an over abundance they could easily stand on a soap box and point the finger at us but it's literally the fucking Spiderman meme right now.

Since no one mentioned it yet, things are getting spicy in the House of Commons now that speaker Greg Fergus paused all government business until the Liberals hand over all documentation regarding Sustainable Development Technology Canada to the RCMP. The TL;DR version of events is the LPC and their friends have been misusing funds to their benefti to the tune of at least $300 million and outright defying parliament by refusing to provide the (unreacted) documents. My read of events is similar to Northern Perspective's; Fergus isn't doing this because he wants to, but because the opposition will move to replace him if the Speaker is seen to be siding with the government. This will make things worse for the LPC as a hostile speaker will hinder their agenda.

However, it gets worse. The Bloc has moved its ultimatum to Friday (tomorrow), otherwise it will work with the other opposition parties to topple the government. I imagine that the NDP will eventually succumb as their financial situation is not going to improve in the short term and sticking with the scandal-prone LPC is not helping the party's tattered reputation. Jagmeet might find his balls and say "fuck it" because some polls show the NDP pulling ahead of the Liberal though I doubt he will keep his seat.

One of the major world issue no one wants to talk about is global depopulation. There was been a Malthusian panic over overpopulation since the sixties, but very few have actually looked at the demographics data. Almost every country in the world is facing a massive population drop over the course of the 21st century with Canada having a lower birthrate than Japan, which is already seeing a noticeable contraction. The LPC thought they had a cheat code by opening the floodgates to immigration, but it's similar to using a Band-Aid to treat a bullet wound.

Canada's obsession with diversity is predicated on the luxury belief that immigration enriches our culture since we have no core identity. It's the rest of Canada that must bear the cost for their little social experiment.
