Can blind people have visual hallucinations?

I mean id imagine so since the drug affects the visual centre of the brain directly without the need of eyes but without active stimuli how would this be affected

What about blind people from birth can they hallucinate a sense theyve never had?

no. of you were born blind the visual regions of your brain don't map to anything visual. if you were turned blind, then yes you would see shit.

It wouldn’t be possible for blind people from birth to see anything, even in their mind. It’s the same for deaf people from birth. Hearing shit just wouldn’t be possible for them even in their mind.
