I notice there hasn't been a thread in media yet for CampusReform since they bring out the best in social justice warriors, uneducated and lolcows alike. This is also for articles of and covering of Campus Craziness about.

The ones with real majors where you actually spend all your time either studying or drinking? Pretty much, yes.

Not any classes worth taking.

I can't imagine "the compiler is patriarchal oppression" arguments working in a comp sci class.

They squeeze into the interdisciplinary classes such as ethics and public policy as it pertains to computing. So you start off by learning about scientific ethics and intellectual property; and then they insert a week or two about gender and race; and then you're back to civil liberties, computer crime, and so on. It's a lot harder to casually slip into in a class on compilers, operating systems, or modern algebra.

I took an introductory computer science course where we spent several weeks discussing how to best censor the internet to protect innocent women like Brianna Wu from cyberbullying.

Heh, oh don't get me wrong. There are interesting technical questions to be asked, if censorship is your end goal. Same thing with opposing censorship.

However you choose to use the tools is irrelevant if you're incompetent with them in the first place.

No I mean like passing anti-cyberbowling laws. That was far from the only problem with that course to be fair.

One of the obligatory classes I got in a IT course had the name "English part 2", but it was actually about the professor's boner for Asians and liberal horseshit.

One time he held a class about Muslims and defended burqas as being "empowering", and tried to justify some Iranian leader saying "death to America". I didn't sign up to work with computers to listen to that shit.

And for those of you who are unfortunate enough to have to sit through dumb shit your tuition fee does not pay for, let the faculty know in your feedback form.

That's what I'm saying. College is a buyers market at this point. If you have the skrilla there is a school for you!
Be it left-wing cry babies or right-wing loons I'm sure there is a center for higher education that will cater to your worldview.
