New York silicone death: Briton Donna Francis 'should be deported'

A woman accused of killing a patient who had silicone injections in her buttocks in New York should be deported to the United States, a judge has said.

Kelly Mayhew, 34, died in 2015 after having cosmetic surgery injections in the basement of a house in Queens.

Donna Francis, 38, from Essex, is wanted in the US and could face charges over criminally negligent homicide.

The case will now be sent to Home Secretary Sajid Javid to make the final decision within the next two months.

Ms Francis could also be charged with unauthorised practise of a profession.

She moved to the UK the day after the procedure and was arrested in May 2017.

The court heard that Ms Mayhew and her mother visited Ms Francis's home on 30 May at 18:00 EST and were taken to the basement, where there were two folding chairs and a treatment table.

While the silicone injections were being administered, Ms Mayhew's mother held her daughter's hand.

But part way through, she said she noticed that her daughter was no longer gripping her hand, was gurgling and her eyes were bloodshot and bulging.

Paramedics were called but Ms Mayhew was declared dead at 19:42.

An autopsy reported seven puncture sites in Ms Mayhew's buttocks following the injection of unencapsulated silicone.

Previously the court heard that the type of silicone used by Ms Francis, who did not wear a surgical gown during he procedure, was in the wrong form and caused systemic emboli, which led Ms Mayhew's death.

'Emotional distress'
She has been fighting extradition to the US, saying it breached her right to a family life under article 8 and she faces inhumane conditions and torture under article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The judge ruled that although being separated from her daughter would lead to to emotional distress, the public interest in deportation, particularly for such a serious offence, outweighed this.

He noted that Ms Francis, from Loughton, was not focused at the time on the young woman who died but on fleeing the scene and then the country the next day.

No appeal is possible until after the decision by Mr Javid.

This seems to be an increasingly frequent cause of death these days. Some woman decides they aren't THICC enough and pays a dodgy person to fire liquid silicone into their arse. Because dodgy person has no medical training whatever the silicone leaks into their bloodstream, blocks their arteries, and sends them into cardiac arrest. There was that bloke in Brazil who went on the run from it.

Is there some epidemic of terminal stupidity that make people think firing building materials into their buttocks is a good idea?

it said "Fix-A-Flat"
if you're only supposed to use it for flat tires they would call it Fix-A-Flat-Tire but they don't okay smart guy?

If you agree to have any kind of unnecessary surgery in a fucking hotel room then you deserve whatever comes next. If they didn't die from the industrial strength silicone injections it would probably have been from something else equally avoidable.

Bet that lazy Thot wishes she'd just tried a few squats instead.

Typical Narcissistic criminal. The moment they are caught they start bitching about muh human rights.

If I was Kelly Mayhew, I'd want to be laying face down in my casket. That way niggas at my funeral would be saying "She may be dead, but damn she got a fat ass."

I agree. It was extremely ass-inine of her.

By reading thd title alone, I thought this was going to be about a tool used to stretch out your anus.
Then I rekembered huge buttocks are a thing.

Does that disappoint you?

I'm curious as to how the doctor escaped after the mother saw her daughter frothing up like that. Did she just run away in the panic? Or did she try to tell her that it's perfectly normal for a person getting a butt injection to lose consciousness?

If someone willingly goes to some basement in Queens to get plastic surgery by some guy that gets his supply for Home Depot, and they die, that might be doing the world a little favor.

The "right to a family life" is the fucking dumbest "right" the EU has enacted.

I get the feeling it gets used to enable muslims with 12 year old "wives" to keep diddling kids.

You don't have a right to procreate.

Ahhh no. The European Convention on Human Rights is nothing to do with the EU; it arose in the post war period before the EU was even thought of. Granted, it is good in principle that there is some sort of minimum human rights standard that is agreed to but it is often interpreted in the most asinine ways. Moreover, a lot of the signatory states to the ECHR don't exactly have very good human rights records themselves yet can send judges to deal with cases under it.

I'm more concerned about how she would be subject to degrading treatment or torture if sent to the US to stand trial. Are they seriously arguing that she'll just be mewed up in federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison and forgotten about?

Curioser und curioser... With the claims being made that Dylan ( https://kiwifarms.net/threads/dylan...f-ekigyuu-beefdumplings-california-cow.49057/ ) was personally responsible for injecting Tank; if proved to be true, could Dylan actually face charges? I know that the likelihood seems slim to none given the death of the 'doctor' allegedly involved in the procedures (suicide, indicating guilt) but it's still a minute possibility based on whether on not there is any proof as to who injected the silicone in this particular case and to the risks involved, signature or no.

Doubtful. You can't archive instagram accounts, so someone would have needed to screenshot the exact post.

I side with @emspex, the likelihood of proving that guilt lies with Dylan is unlikely at best, if @Farmhand Luke or any other fetish orbiter can prove that Dylan was indeed responsible for the injections (and not just encouraging or goading Tank to get it done) then maybe there's an actual case here. IMO, Dylan sadly seems pretty adept at covering his tracks.

Technically, Tank's ballsack injecting doc an hero'd but if there is any proof that Dylan himself administered the injections, maybe there's a case. I doubt that's the case though.

Well, she'd go to state pound-me-in-the-ass prison for manslaughter. Or whatever the woman-prison version of it is. But she won't be forgotten about, no.
