I've been listening to "Kaval sviri" ("The Flute Plays"), and I'm trying to figure out if there's any particular logic under the last stanza:
If it's someone from our village
I'll love him only for a short time,
If it's a foreigner
I'll love him all my life.
Were/are old-timey Bulgarian women that into foreigners?
If it's someone from our village
I'll love him only for a short time,
If it's a foreigner
I'll love him all my life.
Were/are old-timey Bulgarian women that into foreigners?
