A heated row has broken out over a move by Britain's largest bakery chain to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The pastry, which is filled with a meat substitute and encased in 96 pastry layers, is available in 950 Greggs stores across the country.

It was promised after 20,000 people signed a petition calling for the snack to be launched to accommodate plant-based diet eaters.


But the vegan sausage roll's launch has been greeted by a mixed reaction: Some consumers welcomed it, while others voiced their objections.

Cook and food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe declared she was "frantically googling to see what time my nearest opens tomorrow morning because I will be outside".

While TV writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy called herself "very pro the Greggs vegan sausage roll because anything that wrenches veganism back from the 'clean eating' wellness folk is a good thing".

One Twitter user wrote that finding vegan sausage rolls missing from a store in Corby had "ruined my morning".

Another said: "My son is allergic to dairy products which means I can't really go to Greggs when he's with me. Now I can. Thank you vegans."

TV presenter Piers Morgan led the charge of those outraged by the new roll.

"Nobody was waiting for a vegan bloody sausage, you PC-ravaged clowns," he wrote on Twitter.

Mr Morgan later complained at receiving "howling abuse from vegans", adding: "I get it, you're all hangry. I would be too if I only ate plants and gruel."

Another Twitter user said: "I really struggle to believe that 20,000 vegans are that desperate to eat in a Greggs."

"You don't paint a mustach (sic) on the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with the perfect sausage roll," one quipped.

Journalist Nooruddean Choudry suggested Greggs introduce a halal steak bake to "crank the fume levels right up to 11".

The bakery chain told concerned customers that "change is good" and that there would "always be a classic sausage roll".

It comes on the same day McDonald's launched its first vegetarian "Happy Meal", designed for children.

The new dish comes with a "veggie wrap", instead of the usual chicken or beef option.

It should be noted that Piers Morgan and Greggs share the same PR firm, so I'm thinking this is some serious faux outrage and South Park KKK gambiting here.

It's funny people say it's islamic content to point out our history. Mutilating women who cheated by removing their ears and nose was a punishment. As was outright murdering them or the man who she did it with. And this is more recent in our history than when the man had to pay for a new wife and reimburse you for your old one if he slept with her.

Its interesting to think about though because either some goy yoofs burned them down for a laugh or some muslims decided against just killing jews for some reason. It gets more ridiculous when it's being investigated as Iran backed terrorism. If it was Iranian terrorists why the fuck would they burn down four ambulances and not just stab some jews?

The whole thing is retarded and I'm wondering if the whole thing is just a false flag.

They do arson when they're dealing with rival mosques and want to pin it on the natives, or when they're destroying churches. Makes sense they'd use it here as well. The muz are trying to convince everyone it was either a Jewish false flag or Britons, so it's obviously them.

If you're near one, and are so inclined, see if there's a Free Anglican Church nearby you can support. They're GAFCON aligned rather then CoE, and don't follow that Canterbury faggotry.
There shouldn't need to be a schism to get God into churches, but here we are.
 
Idk if it's just me but I've been getting some ads from the government on youtube on the rare occasion I watch something on my phone and don't have adblock. There's a few things recently that are just fucking retarded, literally just 'this thing is a crime and that means it's illegal'. Both of them are fucking deliciously ironic.

The first one is a woman being spammed with texts from an ex that we're told is harassment or abuse or something like that. And I just think back to literally any time I've seen screenshots of something like that online and it's almost always a fucking jeet spamming 'show bob' type shit. I would be willing to bet that women deal with more harassment from the indians in this country than they do English people, not even per capita, just in total.

The other one is a woman using her phone and then the ad ends. It's literally impossible to even tell what the fuck happened in the video section. It's just a woman looking at her phone and then putting it down. But we're told that stopping her going online is abuse. You know, the government that will arrest you for looking at the wrong thing online and told us that watching videos or looking at statistics is akin to terrorism. They now want people to be able to go online? And idk ok controlling what a woman can do, stopping her from using the internet, idk does controlling what she wears not fit in the same category? What about controlling what she eats and where she works and who she talks to? Because all I'm saying is if not letting someone use your internet is abuse then every single muslim deserves to be arrested for much worse.

That's just standard for the police though really. Police don't catch criminals or show up to crime scenes silly they go on jogs and arrest people that look at their ass for more than a split second or some retarded shit.

Ik they dont show up and solve normal crimes but antisemitic crimes or anti islamist crimes always seem to get quick results. Like that mosque van that got set on fire

I don't know if I fully believe that though. How many anti muslim crimes don't get quick results? Are they actually really hard on anti muslim shit or is it just them pushing certain solved crimes harder in the media to give the appearence that they are hard on anti muslim crime? Are the police actually good in specific circumstances, or are they just as retarded equally and just relying on some sort of survivor bias to appear functional? Same as the online shit. Wow you managed to catch a couple people fedposting on facebook under their real name? Damn that's so impressive I will no longer say that mohammed is a paedophile and we should kill rapists online. Not even once. The state has no fucking power. The police are a farce. The entire thing is a fucking joke.
