"They should have hired someone to explain a concept that would destroy the entire plotline of the movie."

According g to the synopsis, the game makers in the movie try to shut the game down. How would server mirroring and fault tolerance stop the admins from shutting it down anyway?

Why do you hate immigrants so much, John?

Brianna Wu explaining the future to his 12 year old self: ...so there's all this really gay stuff going on while you're addicted to drugs but then you meet a screaming midget that pays a surgeon to remove your dick...
Adult John: Hey Brianna, I know you think it won't get better, but it will. You will find a man to buy you whatever you want, spend all your days on the internet, be the hottest game dev ever, spend a decade in school without really doing anyrhing while someone else foots the bill, and no one will be able to criticize you for any of it. Ever.

12 year old John: I sound like an absolute cunt...AWESOME!
What is funny is he always says i have dated more girls than guys but i married a guy
0 × 0 = 0. I genuinely believe Frank was Johns first and he just tied it down fast as he could.
I last remember he got into a Twitter slap fight with a pilot named Quincy over dress codes for women at United Airlines. When John was getting his "expert" ass handed to him, he resorted to his usual MANSPLAING! screeching, to which Quincy riposted with, "I'm a woman, Brianna".

IIRC, John STFU and blocked Quincy.

I will sacrifice many unbaptized babies for this to happen again.

That's beautiful. John mansplaining to a real woman then getting major butthurt over it.
John Flynt: putting the man back in mandate

We should also forcibly sterilise the poor and mentally ill so that they don't drain the rest of our hard-earned money.

"Vaccine mandates." I wonder what johns opinion of medical experiments is. Like testing on the jews in WWII.

Wu's leaving on a jetplane.

We know where she's going, she's going to TN to pick up her new Porsche. The "road trip with Frank" tweet has been baleeted.

Now, I have a poorly evidenced theory. I don't think she told Frank anything about spending 56K bucks on a Porsche. I think she did it as an impulse buy.
Consider:
  • Wu submitted one bid, literally 3 minutes before the auction closed.
  • This bid was at about 5:30 PM Boston time when Frank would be at work, or driving home from work.
  • Moments later Wu tweeted that she has bought a Porsche and that Frank and she would be going on a road trip to pick it up.
  • Later that night a new detail was added that she was selling one of her other Porsches "for a profit." (uh huh, sure.)
  • The road trip plans fell through and now Wu's taking the plane down alone.
Here's what I think happened. Wu bought that Porsche on the spur of the moment without consulting Frank, and then decided that he was going to drive her down there to pick it up because she didn't want to get the 'rona. Frank gets home and is informed he's now out $56K and is not pleased, he's even more not pleased that he's been volunteered to drive a thousand odd miles in aid of Wu's reckless spending. BriBri and Frank have a, er, frank exchange of views. BriBri is informed that he can't get time off work on such short notice, there's nowhere to keep yet another Porsche and that if she's going to buy a car she can damn well pay for it herself. The only way Wu can do that is to sell off her 2 year old Cayman GTS, not at a profit but at a substantial loss.

Not a huge amount of evidence, but it fits.

It is ridiculously rare to sell a car at a profit unless it's a collectible, which none of Wu's cars are. They are famously depreciating assets.

Interesting thoughts. I just assumed Wu would sell the Boxster with the famously depreciating purchase price.

On a barely related Ryan Reynolds note, if your wife/gf is a Ryan Reynolds fan, suggest watching "The Voices" for your next movie night. Wife randomly pulled it up on Netflix last night and afterward she just kept saying "WTF... it said 'dark comedy,' but... Jesus Christ... W.T.F?"
RR talks to his pets and they talk back
there will be blood
from dismemberment and decapitation

That's funny coming from John, the guy that insists the general public can't understand even the simplest of tech-related things and that's why he needs to laymansplain it so badly it actually makes people dumber and less informed. I know it's because he doesn't understand even the simplest things himself but his justification for being incredibly wrong is always that he dumbs it down for the plebs.

So what if SAND-NIGGERS rape and murder each other in some shithole country I can't find on a map? We need harsher legislation to protect my feelings online NOW.

"Many studies"

Narrator: She didn't cite any studies.

Took me about ten seconds. Lazy dumb bitch.
