OK, usually I find John just ridiculous and I like laughing at him because so much of his shit is social media posing.
This one actually makes me mad.
Not only did he not bother to housebreak his animals correctly, for THEIR benefit, so they can function in society (like, oh say you take shelter in a hotel room)
BUT he abandons 2 of the dogs in an unheated house he opines is too cold? AND he splits the pack!?! AFTER months of a routine where everyone is home?
and this after already having a cold-related death on his hands!?!?

He really shouldn't be allowed to keep animals.

Yep, the dog posts are really the only thing about Flu that genuinely get me mad, because by and large, they're probably true. Those poor things are abused, plain and simple, through sheer neglect. Leaving animals in an unheated house for 3 days with no one to look in on them is unbelievable (not to mention that leaving the house totally alone with no heat will mean busted pipes) and makes me want to beat the shit out of John and Frank. I like dogs far better than I like the vast majority of people I encounter, and I feel awful for dogs in a situation like this.
 
Ain't it odd that Cybersecurity John is broadcasting on Twitter that he and his husband aren't at home guarding the three Porsches and tens of thousands of dollars worth of electronics? And how helpful of him to have posted photos of the house and the toys, along with the retail price of much of the loot.

Oh, one last thing. I just mention it b/c Mrs Colombo is always thinking about moving. It's just window shopping really. Who can afford to move on a detective's salary.
but anyway, she was on zillow, just looking around, you know. so the browser was open and I was playing around with addresses. Nice house by the way, but I noticed that the pictures show the rooms have baseboard heaters

My first thought was also, "How can all those baseboard units go out at once?"

Turns out they are all part of a central heating system that pumps hot water to the individual baseboard units in each room. It's actually a very efficient system -- until you start having problems with all the water lines.

Not like you couldn't just drop it in a FedEx dropbox or leave it at a Kinko's. Also wouldn't be surprised if there's literally a phone number or address printed on the back for just such an occurrence. Could also try the live chat on their website, or motherfucking 1-800-GoFedEx.
 
It would be funny if someone replied with the phone number for the Trans Lifeline.

Nice of Wu to finally remember she's supposed to have three dogs. All the references she had made to her pets in the last year and half only said two despite there being three dogs left after Crash died.
