God what a stupid bastard John is. Anthony Scalia, retroactive laws, his ignorance on any subject he talks about is inexhaustible. You could enumerate all of human knowledge just by listing all the things John doesn't know.
 
Johnny's never going to sue anyone, discovery would reveal dozens of things, large and small, that the Mississippi Baffle has lied about in regards to himself and his past life.

I have long dreamed in vain of John ever being on the stand in a court case with someone who knows all about him. Or even just in a video deposition. Any dishonest statement someone has made in the past can be used to impeach their credibility as a witness, and courts don't recognize "deadnaming" as a privilege.

You're really giving John a lot of credit there. At most, he either listened to an audiobook, read the Cliffs Notes version, or just heard Frank mention it one time. John has never shown the capacity to sit down and actually read a novel in his entire life; notice anytime he talks about reading something, he always posts a screenshot of the audiobook.

Brianna's entire narrative falls apart the second they answer "have you ever legally gone by any other name" and he's at least aware of that much. Just the threat of having to answer one of the most basic discovery questions is enough to scare him out of any legal battle.

I think even John has admitted that source b/c he tried to use it as authoritative support...but Heinlein also wrote about Martians, magicians hired by contractors, and a special drive that let a ship travel to freaking OZ!!!!

I think it's already been looked at ad nauseum so the technical assupmtions and misunderstanding John had isn't worth covering here.

I mean at some point FTL drives may become a strategic consideration, but I think we can put that one on the back burner for a bit as the major concern in astro-security
