It never ceases to amaze me how tone-deaf John is. In a time when a large amount of the country is facing financial uncertainty, at risk of losing their jobs or their businesses teetering on the edge of closure, John fires off a tweet not only bragging about having enough disposable income to blow on a toy ship game, but also having enough on top of that to have $400 bets with his husband. To say nothing of all the other expensive bullshit he tweets about owning (or rather, Frank owning).
And we're supposed to take him seriously whenever he pretends to be fighting for the little guy. Ridiculous.

Frank isn't a patent attorney; he has no law degree. I'm not even convinced that he's even a lowly patent agent, because someone who is a biotech patent agent would never lose an argument over the rules of a children's game to the spectacularly feebleminded John Flynt.

No, he's definitely a registered patent agent. It isn't a "lowly" thing, either. It generally requires an advanced degree. Not just any idiot can be one. It's always somewhat confused me that Frank would have any interest in such an obvious intellectual inferior, but that probably is a plus, not a minus, for a dude like Frank.

Actually, the patent bar only looks at your baccalaureate. It does not even consider the advanced degrees.
There are PhDs in a science with a BA that had to use category B
The agent can only practice before the USPTO (which is, honestly, is mainly procedural from a legal standpoint and is mainly engineering analysis) they have no qualification to practice before any court, so cannot litigate nor perform any sort of legal representation on matters (such as TIP) beyond those of patent prosecution

I just realized something about this. John is such a bragging asshole, that he can't just let the joke be a joke. He has to prove his superiority at videogames. I know he is a bragging asshole, but even publically, he turned something that might be a cute interaction between husband and mutilated husband into a contest he can be the victor of. He just can't be humble for even a minute.

As has been pointed out countless times by countless people, virtually nobody who likes sci-fi or fantasy has a problem with female protagonists; they're out there, but they're such an insignificant minority that it really doesn't matter. There are so many examples of popular female protagonists that I don't even need to list them, you can probably just think of a few examples off the top of your head. As that guy pointed out, if Mando was a girl and no other changes were made, the series would probably have the same reception. What people do have a problem with are horribly-written, shoddily-acted Mary Sues that shit all over their beloved series and make them objectively harder to enjoy. People don't like Mando just because the main character is a dude, and people didn't give Solo a pass just because it starred a dude. This is a "problem" that only screeching assholes like the entire staff of The Mary Sue whinge about.
John Walker Flynt, the genius behind Socially Unconscious, Election Eve, and Revolution 60, is the last person who gets to say anything about women in media. Nice job throwing the "I was adopted" lie in there too for extra pity points.
