Any programmer who spends 70 percent of the day searching Stack Overflow would be fired. But John wouldn't know that.

And good programmers are smarter than a whole lot of people. But John wouldn't know that either.

I don't get that other guys example either. Spending five hours to automate a five second task would matter if you have to do that task say, even only a thousand times a day. You'll have saved yourself those five seconds every single time it's done. If you have to do it every day that would really add up. Especially since you could spend that time doing more searches on StackOverflow about how to load data into strings or whatever it is Wu wants.

Deep insight here John, health care in the Garden of Eden was perfect scumbag policymakers serving the majority got in the way and now look at the fucking mess we're in.

Transgender health care is literally taking an axe to someones penis and then trying to stitch the resulting wound that will never heal right up.

You're off to a good start, John, but as long as you allow TERFs to live, you are complicit in literal transgender genocide.

"Take no risks," truly profound life advice from unemployed homosexual man John Flynt.

Brianna thinks the Dilbert character Asok is black.

That, more than anything else, proves she has no significant experience in IT in the US.
I think you are meaning to be saying that the Brianna Wu believes Asok is a black. Please to explain how this might occur?

Don't you just hate having to refactor the whole codebase to swap spaces with tabs, fellow programmers?
For us computer retards the joke is that every IDE has a user setting that toggles how tabs and spaces are interpreted, if someone like spaces a tab will behave like spaces for indentations and vice versa. Even if it didn't, just do a find(//.*\r\n) and replace(\x00) using regex. I don't know shit about regex but that should work, simple things are not that hard.

Meet James Tison, Wu's new minion.

She's always got someone in every venture who gets to suffer Wu's unique management style, James is the poor bastard who got the nod this time. James is a resident of Brooklyn, New York and is a jobbing stand up comic, which I take to be NYC's equivalent to LA's actor/model/waitress because he sure has a lot of side hustles to pay the bills. He's also gay, gender non-binary (which somehow is not incompatible with being gay. I don't even know) and HIV positive.

As far as I can tell, James fell in to Wu's orbit when he was working as researcher for a short run podcast series for NARAL on right wing crazies. They did a gamergate episode, and of course Wu is the go to talking head on gamergate. Here's the transcript of her episode, same old embellished tales of her persecution as always. Wu's hiring pool is always very shallow, these casual acquaintances who really don't seem to have much in the way of experience or qualifications end up getting "jobs" under Wu. Conducting a through candidate search would be too much like work, and she's more interested in having a minion than any actually work product they might produce.

James gets paid seemingly random amounts of money intermittently for his work, described as "media production." He seems to have been involved in soliciting talent for voice over work. My guess is Wu writes the scripts for all those pointless videos then dumps all the actual coordination work involved in getting them produced on James here.

I'll leave you with an example of his stand up.... er, enjoy....?

That standup was pretty boring. Oddly though now I want a few minutes of Wu doing standup, it'd be hilarious probably.

Then again, I encourage anyone and everyone to do standup simply for the potential it turns out like this masterpiece:
