The science is clear: undecided voters are brain-dead re,tards because they don't automatically prefer the same things as me.

I get the sense Bri Bri hasn't actually looked into the science.
Antonio Damasio (an actual neuroscientist at USC., even though it doesn't fit's John's pref for a single mother who didn't go to school as a hire) research points to just the opposite (small excerpt form an article)
The high-reason view, Damasio writes, assumes that “formal logic will, by itself, get us to the best available solution for any problem….To obtain the best results, emotions must be kept out.”
Damasio’s research demolished that notion. Building on the work of many thinkers in the field, including Marsel Mesulam, Lennart Heimer, and Mortimer Mishkin, Damasio showed that patients with damage to the part of the prefrontal cortex that processes emotions (or, in a way, “listens” to them) often struggle with making even routine decisions.
It goes on to explore a clinical case where, without the emotional processing, the patient couldn't make decisions even though all the rational, cognitive facualties were there (in more detailed descriptions, it looks like they may get stuck in HIGHLY rational analysis loops)
Joe LeDoux (if John doesn't know who Joe LeDoux is without google, John has NOT looked into the science) is currently of the view that emotions are high order processes.
Now LeDoux also has a bunch of research (it's the focus of his career) about how fear response (the kind of "emergency!!!" Bri Bri is trying to promote) creates a cognitive narrowing and black-and-white thinking
In short, the undecided person could very well be entirely, possibly even dysfunctionally rational -- that being said, unless he is acting specifically as a political advocate, the would be maximally rational to not make the decision until the decision s needed (affording more time for data collection, esp during the accelerated period just pre-election)
Bri Bri, as he ha talked about it being life or death and that he is willing to thro out his own ethical practices (high road vs low road) speaks quite strongly to his perceptual narrowing and bias projection (for example his prodigious use of blocking while also criticizing others blocking him )
To summarize : John is full of shit
[get those autism badges out : Just want to say once again that John reflects the Democrats in general about as well as The Room reflects movies in general. I think John, and his ilk, are actually
damaging , The democratic party, its chances, and the operation of democratic government]
