On the one hand I might be inclined to say something about not throwing stones, on the other everyone is fucking re,tarded and should neck themselves.

Frank always has that soyboy face.
$80k... a semester.
Not per year, per semester.
Tuition, fess, books, and on-campus room and board at Harvard is about $36,000 per semester.
As usual, John is just pulling ludicrous numbers out of his ass. But those numbers aren't half as idiotic as the idea of an Ivy League university offering John Flynt a teaching job, which is what he's implying.

When you never had to worry about earning money in your life, you don't know the value it has or how much things cost. If you can pay anything without worrying about limits why would you bother with small details such as price or overall cost of things?Tuition, fess, books, and on-campus room and board at Harvard is about $36,000 per semester.

On another note :
Is that feminist workspace article behind a hard paywall or has the sitejust recognized all my net porn tracking cookies (I can't help it, Zack squatting on a rubber dick keeps me thin -- troon-porn-bulemia)?
That said, I wouldn't be surprised if at the height of Wu's fame someone didn't offer her $1500 to come TALK to a school about Unreal/game development/being murdered by Gamergate/etc. and the story is now being turned into something even more absurd than inviting Wu to speak about anything.
I spelunked the archive and there was a non-paywall snapshot from July.
For those that wants to but can't read it here it is:
This is maybe my favorite obvious Wu lie in a while. An $80,000 a semester college for some reason offered Brianna Wu $1500 lump sum to teach a course of unspecified length and unspecified topic related to the Unreal Engine because their game development department is not only advanced enough to exist (something you won't find at most major universities) but also stupid enough to hire total randoms with no actual experience to teach courses based around a specific engine without Epic getting involved in kiboshing the whole thing.

This is likely the actual truth to it. Back when John was actually a popular enough professional victim, his speaking fees were typically around $1500 (including travel and stay). What's funny about this number in regards to being a speaker is just how low it is because John doesn't need to be compensated for taking time away from work and it's more about feeding his ego than it is about pay. John's low rates were likely a large contributor to why he got so many engagements at his peak (and why so many were third-rate venues).I spelunked the archive and there was a non-paywall snapshot from July.

That last part could be correct, he went to a college to stand on stage and vaguely talk about UE in "laymans terms" to students in computer science and maybe game development. Better not get technical around a group like that, it would go right over their heads.
His lie of declining $1500 to teach UE at a university might actually be him taking the $1500 then flying out to a college to teach no one nothing for 60 minutes followed by tweeting about how great he is.
Apparently the place hilariously imploded in inner conflicts and accusations of -isms: https://www.bostonglobe.com/2020/07/06/business/some-us-turbulence-wont-fly-wing/
Who'd guess...

What wouldn't I give to have been a fly on these walls so I could see see these tech-savvy (HAH) Karens trying to out-Karen one another.

The one who wrote that whiny article sounds like a PA tittybaby who's throwing a gigantic fit to make herself less Karen-ny than she actually is. I can smell the crocodile tears and the fakeness from another continent.
