Well, it looks like Executive Director John doesn't know what kind of PAC he's executive directing. It's not, as he repeatedly claims, a Super PAC. It's a Hybrid PAC, as the Water Buffalo makes clear in the second sentence on rebellionpac.com, which John, of course, couldn't be arsed to even read.

It is legal for Hybrid PACs to donate to campaigns and to do work independent of the campaigns. So John won't get nailed for that. But it's still spectacularly incompetent be to not know that he's running a Hybrid PAC and not a Super PAC. It's like claiming you run a corporation when your business is actually a sole proprietorship.

Yes John, it lowers immune response...thuis immune response is known as inflammation. The mechanism of this immune response are pro-inflammatory cytokines like IL-1 which impair things like learning and memory and map well to depression. (a good trade off when you are actually sick, but not so good when you are getting inappropriate immune response)

Dark money, by definition, comes from unknown sources. And dark money can't be given to politicians; it can only be spent on issue advertising.

This ad is an error-filled joke.

Don’t political ads usually feature the source for their claims (congressional reports, voting records, etc) in small print at the bottom of the ad? Odd that they’re missing here.

Also missing is any information on who paid for the ad. It's funny that John can't accuse someone of taking bribes without committing a federal crime himself.

If we're lucky, John will soon be explaining to the Water Buffalo why Rebellion PAC is being fined by the FEC.
 
I just noticed something interesting.

As we know, Miss'ippi John is the assistant treasurer for Rebellion PAC. The main treasurer is Cenk himself. But they both have the same phone number listed, which appears to be John's because it's a Massachusetts area code.

And as of 8/12, the FEC has four requests outstanding for the treasurer to make corrections to the filings made by Cenk's campaign. This is about 4000 pages' worth of data.
First: I wonder if John is going to be getting calls about this campaign he had nothing to do with.
Second: I wonder if Cenk is planning to "promote" John to main treasurer and leave him holding the bag for all this accounting work.

I haven't reviewed the Cenk campaign and I don't have any particular reason to suspect flagrant illegality (nor did the FEC allege any), but it'd be amusing to see John on the hook for endless hours of busywork.

I find it pretty cute Wu is aiming for that "grade school level infotainment game from 2002" vibe with this ad.

This video feels like it would play in a pop up box right after you get enough points in the colors and shapes game.

Congratulations! You thwarted the evil politician Brybe D. Kash's schemes of turning the Amusement Park into a parking lot! Now go play the numbers game to prevent Ms. Dee Forrest from evicting all the animals from the woods to build a new factory!
