I've never noticed anyone Wu's hired to be exceptional, except perhaps in the Kiwi Farms sense of the term. Bad to mediocre seems to be the way her hires tend to run. I think she's talking about Amanda Warner here, who was about the quality of animator you might expect from one of those knockoff CG movies that try to trick idiots in to thinking they're a much more popular Disney/Pixar movie. Also worth noting that after she quit Giant Spacekat she never worked as an animator again.

Maybe she's trying to imply that everyone she has ever hired has been excellent but they've all be dragged down by having to work for BriBri.

Scam PACs are very, very easy to do. Run some Facebook ads (which are cheap as hell), put some liberal/conservative talking points in them, and dumbasses will throw money at you. Bri-bri already has an email list from her scampaign, too, which would benefit it. Much less scrutiny than a campaign as well.

A 43-year-old who has hired hundreds of people would have spend the last 20 years managing a Dairy Queen, not hiring college-educated professionals for software positions. Unfortunately, John does sometimes learn from experience, so we know that all the members of his team of grossly underpaid, part-time, contract suckers will have to sign 400-page nondisclosure agreements to prevent anyone from learning that Progressive John provides:
  • Shitty pay
  • No healthcare insurance
  • No 401k
  • No paid vacation
  • No paid sick time
  • No paid maternity leave
  • No overtime pay
The office will be John's basement, but the contractors will be expected to work from home on equipment they provide. Their real jobs -- as opposed to the fantasy jobs John will tweet about -- will consist of making cold calls begging for cash.
