Some do, and they are fucking heroes. The amount of stress those people have to deal with is beyond me.

Dr. Simon Bond was a GP in Appalachia in the 1950s. He drove around with a sterilized sheet in case he had to perform an operation on a kitchen table. He kept this up for several years.

He then went into active service in the US Navy, where he spearheaded the concepts behind saturation diving, more or less running the Man in the Sea and Sealab programs.

According to his personal account, he elected to go into active service to have time to relax.
 
Didn’t he say that he’d donate campaign funds with “what was left over” to the EFF? That was back in April/May so it should be on here (which we all know why it isn’t).

it also looks like the campaign wasn’t dissolved. So they’ll still have to file quarterly even if they don’t spend/receive anything.

Finally, for all their expenses, they did NOT tabulate the expenditure reason.

Could be that they have to if it's a 3/6/12 month deal that is paid per month and maybe it's cheaper to let it run out and not renew it instead of paying a cancellation fee. Incompetence and laziness seems more likely though.
 
There's a couple of interesting things about this report. One, Paul Casali doesn't get any money for the first time since scampaign 2.0 began in earnest. Second, the report was made out two days late with every indication of being a rush job, and was signed by Nick Popolo. Nick Popolo is a tax preparer and one Paul Casali's old friends judging by the fact he was the second person Paul ever followed on twitter.

I wonder if Paul Casali quit the campaign, and that was the event that caused Wu to throw in the towel. I get the impression that Wu only realised she had to file a report because we mentioned it here. I think she might have actually phoned Paul and whined at him that he hadn't done it, such is Wu's entitlement and obliviousness that she probably didn't realise that "I don't work for you any more" is actually a good reason why things don't get done. I expect he arranged for Nick to do the report as a rush job.

There's no reason why they shouldn't have tied up all the loose ends and filed a termination report, now they're going to have to file yet another report in October and they might get dinged with a fine for this one being late.
 
Yup when Salman Rushdie was being hunted down like an animal after publishing "The Satanic Verses", that was nothing like the debates that raged over titty sliders in video games. Anyway John go ahead and post police statistics broken down by race and see for yourself if "cancel culture" exists.

for his age group, esp for a boy in MISSISSIPPI it's de rigeur

I'd put hard cash down that John's never driven a non-synchromesh transmission, wouldn't understand it, and if he's never heard of a locking differential, I'm pretty sure he has no idea what synchromesh actually is (oh, he'd google it and then bring up torque vectoring for no apparent reason)
