You're thinking of the F-15E. The F-15EX is the newest F-15. Wu still doesn't know what he's talking about; the budget for it was originally appropriated before the hysteria for next year. The money isn't here now, not that it ever will be. The government is also required by law to buy more fighter jets each year so there's not much choice there.
