agent actually (a clerk works for the USPTO so they actually have more exposure than frank does, Frank only has to look at the stuff he's working on)
It means he sat the patent bar (totally separate thing from any other legal bar) , so he can file patents and respond to office actions, etc (and to qualify they only look at a BS in a recognized field, or equivalency..abt 8 years of technical experience. The USPTO doesn't ever CARE about advanced degrees. they only look at a bachelor's that's it)

It has no bearing even on LITIGATING patents (patent agent can't represent shit in court,he's not an attorney) and certainly nothing on any other part of law...at all. It confers no legal credential beyond submitting patent work to the USPTO - that's it, that's all.
it's fundamentally irresponsible and intellectually dishonest for John to hold it out like it does.

It's basically procedural stuff. Know how you have to pass a test that you know the basics of traffic laws to get a driver's license.

It's even sadder because that time she's bragging about is for the SNES Super Mario All Stars version of the game, which saves progress and lets you jump to levels you've passed, so she's using a reset and chapter skip to still get a time a minute slower than the people doing it legit single segment.

Imagine bragging about having the 6th fastest time ever ran in 110m hurdles, despite tripping and falling. The SMB2 record is a joke.

I played the birdo fight to see if I could improve on Wu's technique, he stands too far away so the egg doesn't blindside him and have to run with it to hit the boss.
But the princess can hover, so...
edit: started thinking about Birdo again and found a faster strategy that only the princess can do.

It is irritating because he is babbling endlessly about something of which he is very ignorant and is not actually good at. He hammers it into the ground, and then is super smug about it.

What bothers me doubly about this is she always brings it up to people outside the intelligence sphere of whatever she's talking about, and the second someone with any expertise chimes in...HARRASSMENT!
