Sorry John you lost me with this analysis since it doesn't involve Harry Potter.

This whole story has evolved considerably over the years. This is the earliest full recital we have from Wu herself:

The two years timeframe is obvious bullshit. Wu was out and about in the world during that time and at least able to use a computer, because she wrote the Election Eve manuscript during this particular period after DC but before going back to Ole Miss.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I've always taken the ambien addiction/rehab story at face value, because it's just so Wu. However there's so many lies Wu has floated, you really have to question everything.
Well at least this isn't a new story, but he still falls into his usual habit of stretching any sort of truth into an increasingly fantastical tale. I'm with you on the Ambien thing because that's honestly something I wouldn't think anyone would actually choose to make up an addiction to. Most people would jump to something interesting like cocaine, but John's so weird I could see him getting high on Ambien. But the rest of the story has grown over the years. After all, three months of recovery isn't nearly as dramatic as two whole years! It's not even a case of rounding up to a higher round number, it's straight-up bullshit.

That screencap doesn't have him say what the accident was, just what that Brian (lol) guy asked him. That, and whatever accident he got into made him become a Democrat. Any other times John's mentioned this story and said what supposedly hospitalized him?

Brianna Wu: “I was an illustrator for YEARS”
Narrator: “John Walker Flynt aka Brianna Wu drew shitty fetish comics about women for a college newspaper.”

Add “illustrator” to John’s infinitely expanding fantasy job history.

This is not a new claim by John.

Remember the notorious "inking pass" incident in which he claimed to have drawn a piece of artwork that was actually created using the autotrace function in Illustrator? That was about four years ago, and he claimed then that he had spent "years" working as a "professional illustrator." And that's just an outright lie, not an exaggeration.

From the Bluejean Bandit thread it's said that Johnny boy used to claim at Ole Miss that he'd been mugged, and got stabbed in the head causing amnesia. I think we can take for granted that that never happened. It does go to show these lies have a good vintage on them, though.

I've wondered before, but it never stops being relevant: What does Frank make of BriBri's tall tales? He must be aware that much of her identity is a tissue of lies. He seems like a fairly sensible chap, marrying a crazy tranny not withstanding. Doesn't he worry that all these lies are going to come back to bite them some day?

That old twitter thread is fucking mind blowing. "Being picked up by my parents after laying in bed for three months at the hospital my father was a board member for was the experience that taught me what it meant to not be a rich, privileged white boy. I could barely sign the bills my parents paid." Jesus Chris, John.

There's a lot you can say about Frank, but I think you can say for certain that he's not so naive as to think that John is anyone but John. How much he knew before they got married is questionable, but I don't think it really matters to him at this point. We've speculated on his reasons for marrying John and creating a Frankenbride out of him, but whatever the reason may be, he seems happy enough to keep the relationship going for well over a decade at this point. Even with the gigantic drain on his finances that John has become between surgeries, Rev60, and now the eternal doomed political campaign, he still keeps him around.

So no, I don't think he worries about that at all. His income isn't impacted in the slightest by the truth about John's past coming to light. Despite John's LARPing, Frank has all the control in the relationship financially, and he can cut him loose whenever he feels like it. The guy's probably got enough legal savvy (or at least could probably find a decent lawyer) to ensure John left with nothing in such a scenario. Wave Life Sciences going under and leaving him out of a job would be a far bigger problem for him than some journalist finally doing due diligence on John's background.

Right? Not being able to sign was getting his privilege checked?

Wut?

Just recently John has said he doesn't have direct access to their campaign finances. Kiwis have made the fair assumption that, given the types of bookkeeping errors Frank keeps making, it's likely the campaign money is going into their personal account. This means it's not a joint account, it's in Frank's name, and John has literally nothing of his own, it's all Frank's: the house, the cars, the apple shit, all bought for John but not by John.

Nope, both John and Frank are on the deed, the homestead declaration, and the mortgage.

Franks signature is illegible, but not in a cool way, and Johns is a dead ringer for OPL's handwriting: not a signature so much as grade-school cursive. Im surprised John could resist dotting the "i" with a heart.
Man I was thinking the exact same thing, I clicked on the link to see if he had done the heart thing over the “I”.

John’s signature is so practiced and rehearsed to appear feminine.
