I'm pretty sure you don't have to pay any corporate taxes when you have posted a loss every year you've been in business and have skated around the issue of employer payroll taxes by hiring everyone on a 1099 contract basis.

Also, there is already legislation - “Low Volume Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Act” (H.R. 2675) - that allows the people that now have the DeLorean name to manufacture a small quantity of the cars as replicas.

Wealth is not immoral. It can be used for immoral purposes, but wealth in and of itself is not.

I don't care how a millionaire/billionaire came by their wealth, whether it was earned, won, or handed down. They can do whatever they want with it. Sure, I might find some uses of mega wealth stupid (saw a documentary on rich kids on Instagram that had me shaking my head in disbelief), and I could even pontificate on what I'd do in that position, but in the end, I have no say in what the rich do with their money. These sorts of posts always boil down to "I feel entitled to get whatever I want and if I don't get it then the system is rigged and has to be destroyed," ignoring the fact that life's unfair and you just gotta make do with what you've got.

As for solving hunger by throwing money at it, ask Africa how that's been working out for them.

I'll cut The Quartering a bit of slack here and suggest he didn't look up "gravity well" because Wu has so little credibility he assumed it was gibberish. If Chris-Chan accidentally said something apparently incoherent, I probably wouldn't look it up either.

So, just for fun:

1) Bombarding the earth from the moon using rocks is lifted from Robert Heinlein's The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.
2) It took a Saturn V to fly from the Earth to the Moon; the Apollo CSM was able to make the return trip. It is a lot easier to go from the Moon to Earth than vice-versa.
3) It is plausible in that story, as Heinlein proposed using rocks with iron sabots launched using mass drivers. He has a colony on the Moon with thousands of people.
4) The proposed Space-X flight would take a handful of people around the Moon, without even landing.

It's pretty much like Elon Musk is buying a rowboat, and Wu is worried the rowboat might carry dozens of Trident missiles with nuclear warheads.

There is also no way her company was set up as a C-Corp. All taxes were passthrough on her income taxes.

Guessing Frank handles that stuff as well while she tweets and plays video games.

With the way Frank handles the FEC filing, I’m surprised the IRS didn’t flag their taxes for an audit. Maybe Frank hires an actual accountant to do their taxes.

Recently got an email from Medium.com's Help and Support saying my story debunking Brianna Wu's denial of being transgender violated their rules.

I accepted this without complaint, but have instead decided to rehost it on my own blog and have left liberal permissions to rehost anywhere else so long as the original on my blog is linked to:

He is a politician running for political office. Whether or not John is a trans "woman" is entirely relevant if he is lying about being one. Someone who will lie about something so obvious and easy to prove will lie about anything. He's exactly the kind of person you shouldn't elect to office. Telling people that isn't hate speech. It is a public service.

Not even worth my autism to complain about anymore.

Even the people willing to deny the emperor is naked still know John Walker Flynt is an incompetent liar who should never attain power and he's too lazy to do more than LARP for it in a very halfassed manner.

I'm content to watch others fight those battles if they please, but as for me, he's already defeated himself with his own stupidity, shiftlessness, and lack of actual ambition, I'm just here to watch the dumpster fire and little more now.

The only time someone would really examine Wu is if she became an actual candidate instead of a farce. If Lynch announced he was retiring, she would get a much harsher look. Otherwise she’ll just get your usual puff pieces from Cenk or the local cable news or the weird radio show in Boston whose host has a boner for her.

John has sort of lied about being transgender, but he attempted to cover his ass so he wouldn’t be called out for it. He made the WP print he’s not transgender but “identifies as a woman”. Normal born women don’t say they “identify as a woman” because they ARE born women. The correct version was up for awhile, everyone saw it.

That really freaked him out because the truth was in print in a major publication for a long time. The correction calls him out too, and he knows it and can’t do shit about it because the WP can’t print he’s a real woman. They’d be printing a lie regardless what John thinks he is because he cut off his dick and takes estrogen.

It’s immaterial that Brianna Wu is a transgender woman in regards to his scampaign, though. There are so many lies he’s made over the years that point to him being a massive narcissist who only cares about himself and gaining popularity at the expensive of others around him. He’s lied about every single aspect of his 40+ years of life. I’m sure his family hates him and wants him out of their lives but he continues to bad mouth his parents and siblings that I’m surprised they haven’t spilled the tea yet much like Zoe’s mom did in her amazon book review.

Brianna Wu only cares about Brianna Wu and raising Brianna Wu’s brand. He will change his beliefs however the wind blows.
 
Wasn't the DeLorean originally marketed as a luxury item before John D decided he'd rather just have all the cocaine instead? Isn't it still a luxury item? (like how most classic cars are; don't fucking drive one on the road) Is saying you'll protect luxury items (that aren't even American; IIRC it was a product of Ulster) really something the average American cares about?
