Is Ambien an opiod? If so, then John can be an used as an example of how abusing it can turn you into a shaved yeti with a gaping crotch wound that gets fucked by midget chinks

I don't think Wu's drug abuse changed much or made his brain worse, he seems to be a natural competitor in the special olympics.

I'm a terrible drawer but I followed those steps and I now have my very own "Pointy-Haired Guy" with a cross over his face drawing on the back of a receipt. Thanks Brianna Wu For Congress 2020!

And the people who recently finished paying theirs off? No excuses.

Looking into my own student loan history, I'm gonna call bullshit on this. It's actually uncanny: I took out almost the same amount of money, made almost the same monthly payments, and reached almost the same balance.

The difference? It took two years to reach that point, not fucking twelve.

Either Natasha took out a loan with a stupidly high interest rate, she hasn't actually been keeping up with her payments like she's implied, or she's made part or all of it up. She's either moronic, a liar, or quite probably both. Those problem glasses certainly aren't helping her case either way.

And then there's ol' Johnny boy up there conveniently glossing over the fact that he never once took out student loans, that his parents paid his way through everything until they finally cut him off, yet he's still pretending he's a woman of the people by quoting the standard gibs playbook. Student loan debt is certainly an issue, but without excising the tumors of increased bureaucracy and worthless degrees and departments from the college system, debt cancellation will only be a temporary relief before it bubbles up again. Funny how these only really became a problem when the government started backing student loans, isn't it? So long as universities continue to have an excuse to bloat their staff and budget through raising tuition fees to soak up more of that essentially unlimited government funding, they'll keep doing it.

Wu really has lived the Nu-American riches to riches dream.

- Born to millionaire parents
- Disinherited due to wasting every opportunity and then trooning out
- Forced in to a hardscrabble existence where you lived in someone else's house who paid the rent
- Through sheer spunk earned your current position by finding a rich guy to marry who inexplicably is in to supremely ugly hunchbacked trannies.

They should make that in to a movie. There wouldn't be a dry eye in the house.

In the mean time, old, out of touch Stephen Lynch...

- Born of modest means.
- Went to work on construction, bettered his lot and those of his fellows by joining a union.
- Was selected by his peers as union rep.
- Paid his own way to night school and became a lawyer
- Eschewed the huge cash he could have made and worked for underprivileged.
- Eventually elected to congress.
- Doesn't spend his entire life reminding everyone he used to be poor.

What a cockring. Imagine awful people like that being given power.
Not that I’ve been to a Lynch campaign rally, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he mentioned he grew up in the projects or that his father was an iron worker who dropped out of eighth grade. It reminds voters that he’s like them and understands their issues. Which is not true for Wu.

That’s not to say you can’t get elected if you’re not totally representative of the district. Barney Frank, gay Jew from New Jersey, got re-elected for years and years, but he made an effort to care about fishing related issues in New Bedford, whereas you know Wu doesn’t give a damn about the working class.

Am I way off base, or is all this student loan forgiveness shit not just another bank bailout of sorts, this time wrapped in the veneer of "but think of the man/woman-children!"

College is so expensive these days that the majority of people graduate with debt. But there’s clearly a difference between ‘I am gainfully employed as a high school teacher, and I have 25k in loans to pay back for the degree from the state university that I took four years to get’ and ‘I dicked around in undergrad from 7 years blaming my failures on anxiety and not my weed problem and finally got a general studies degree and now I work at Starbucks’. I see people online talking about how they have SIX FIGURES of undergrad debt and yeah, not sympathetic. Or the people who thought they would somehow become a vidya developer by going to a for profit school with a game design major.

Cool John, so instead of buying new toys or cars or Apple products, you'll help pay off your neighbour's college debt right?

Don't scream because it's over, scream because it's still fucking happening.

Bold new strategy for 2020: insult people on the Twatter over Star Wars. Just kidding that's been the strategy since 2017.

Let not your heart be troubled! Jesus tells us in the good book that Elizabeth Warren will be elected President of the United States in 2020! Shut your fucking hole John.
