Best part about this? It all could have been avoided if Brianna could reign in his ego and for once not try to speak as an informed person on a subject he has little knowledge or interest in. I suppose that's one of the best things about Wu as a lolcow is that he can't help but insert himself into bullshit and embarrass himself even going as far back as Gamergate.

I bet he expected his dickriding Twitter orbiters would be able to bail him out of this rough scrape by shouting down the opposition, but he made the mistake of hitting people with a bigger social media footprint than him. I see his opponents in this beatdown are easily getting 10x the amount of likes and retweets as him.

It's another Wu weakness. He really overestimates his social media influence. Brianna tweets constantly but he doesn't really get a lot of engagement on any of his tweets (except the ones he pays to get pushed) and he doesn't seem to have the connections to Twitter support anymore that he used to revel in. I remember on one of his other big blunders (might have been the moon rocks debacle) seeing a lot of people comment about how they follow Wu but muted him ages ago. He might have his vanity campaigns and a few select sycophants still pushing him, but Brianna Wu is largely seen as a joke.

I mean ... that's not really untrue. Certainly John is incapable of providing for himself. It's just that making sure he's comfortable is a worthless, morally reprehensible charity.

The clincher to all that just further twists the knife in Wu's conceited back.

You are supposed to do all that with a willing spirit, expecting nothing in return, doing goodwill simply for the sake of doing a good turn toward another, a theme God was consistent on since the Old Testament and Jesus continued to stress in the New as consistent with His Will.

It's amusing to watch John argue that the federal government should be enforcing the dictates of the Bible. He's too stupid to realize what's going to happen when the Department of Deuteronomy, Leviticus, and Numbers shows up at the Wu residence with a truckload of cobblestones.
