Can someone explain what is in this for Leo Laporte? The guy isn't some tech savant, but he knows enough to know that Wu is a fraud. Is it for e-cred? Aren't there other real women who really work in the tech industry that would appear on the show?

The ultimate irony in all this is the people who support her and her "women in tech" are actually blocking real women in tech from being noticed so she can cosplay.

She spent between $1k-$5k in the last week of April to brag about raising money. Only 6% of the people who viewed the ad were from Massachusetts.

There is another ad of her showing up to some union strike rally. It's actually something that could be effective in the district. Only 2% of the people who saw the ad were from Massachusetts. It was also targeting young people who likely aren't in unions and don't give a shit about them.

This just shows that this is all a vanity campaign. If you were serious, you'd geo-target just your district. There's no reason for a Congressional primary candidate to be running national ads. Colossal waste of money.

That would be if the union isn't guaranteed to be completely full of Lynch supporters. About all John would really do is remind them to show up for the primary because that fucked up crazy tranny is at it again.

Also, while Lynch is vaguely pro-life in the way every 60 something Catholic is, it's also not relevant because abortion is a state issue that members of Congress have no control over.

I also learned from his wikipedia page that he used to be an ironworker, and his dad was too, and his dad was an 8th grade drop out, and Lynch grew up in the projects. And he's a 5th generation resident of South Boston and still lives there. People who voted for Trump will come out and vote for him because he's their guy. He's not some privileged transplant.

Pretending to support unions isn't, but actually having the support of unions is, at least if you want to get elected. John's actual record is supporting union-busting corporations like Apple and other Silicon Valley hipster shit and even threatening to import their shit to the Boston area.
 
Honestly I do agree. I really dislike when multi-generational living proponents (the ones who are middle class white Americans who have never experienced it themselves) ignore that a lot of people's families aren't that great--or at least aren't that great to live with. And the reason Millennials are living with their parents is overwhelmingly because they can't afford to move out.
