It's always so difficult to know what to believe about Wu, because every source has at least one lie embedded in it. There's truth to be gleaned, but you really have to cross reference pretty hard to figure it out. Or you can just believe whichever statement is maximally funny.

As near as I can tell, in Johnny boy mode Wu was completely heterosexual. She's stated she never even considered gay relationships until she started HRT. She mentioned dating at least one woman, but god knows if that's real or not. It's hard to believe Wu wasn't a total incel. She's since retconned the whole thing to say she was in a relationship with a boy when she was in her teens, but that's certainly complete horseshit. Incidentally, it's almost certain Frank was fucking her before the dick chop, and almost certainly took Wu's anal virginity. It's weird how quickly that all came together. They met in October 2007, dated for a while, organised the dick chop for June 2008 and then Frank said he proposed in July, though it's hard to believe they didn't have some sort of understanding considering he was paying for her surgery. The fact that she had bottom surgery before getting the tits installed is pretty weird, it kind of suggests a lot of what happened was Frank's idea. She had at least 3 surgeries in fairly quick succession after meeting Frank, which I wouldn't want to go through.

Not sure about that last bit. I do believe his stories from Susan's Place about going on dates with men who supposedly didn't know he was trans (i.e. tranny chasers who were happy to play along), and some of those probably involved sex.

Yeah, it's one of those things where you have to make a judgement call on which statements are total lies. It's in the same context as Wu saying she passes easily which tends me towards thinking it's horseshit, but I suppose Wu could have fucked some dickgirl fetishists before Frank. Hey, lots of trannies make a living by turning tricks, maybe that's why Wu's Colorado employment history is so spotty. I'd laugh so hard if I found out that was the case.

A lot of John's "transitional sexuality" posts like this read like he was a gay man in severe denial. From the Ole Miss accounts, we know he apparently liked to brag that he was so feminine that he could trick men into sleeping with him which I think might be Wu code for "hitting up the twink chasers going to Drag Night at the nearest gay bar".

EDIT: Kind of ninja'd on that? Oh well. I think one of the more interesting things at play with John's bizarro sexuality is that he seems to really want to be seen as desirable to men despite his rampant misandry. It's like he can't get over the fact that probably every dude he pursued as John rejected him for being a creepy asshole so now, as Brianna, he wants to be everything they could ever want in a woman and reject them too. 🤔

That's what I've always thought was the most plausible scenario in addition to being the funniest. Show up at a gay bar in a miniskirt and dance to Madonna, then a drunk gay dude buggers him while giving him a reach around in the alley out back while Wu concocts the story of how he's totally passing as a woman.
