How would the Troon Tank measure up to the Race War Van
Jace loads the back with all Tyce's ultra-fermented jenkem barrels, opens the stankiest one so that its fumes permeate the air within the van, and then drives the Race War Van at full sped towards the tank in a kamakazi run as "HIGHWAY TO THE DANGER ZONE" plays on max volume.:jacefedora:

Brianna wu flails from the tank hatch in rage and squeals at frank to blow up the van, but alas the cannon has been sawed off almost completely and lacks any kind of accuracy, the few shots frank sends in the vague direction of the rapidly approaching Race War van simply wind up destroying Brianna's porsche collection, causing further shrieking and a field execution performed on Frank for being a gamergate field agent.

Just as Jace is about to impact against the troon-tank's hull, he lights up his final joint, igniting the jenkem fumes and causing a massive explosion that annihilates the tank and burns the screeching tranny wendigo within to greasy ashes.

And as the smoke clears, all that remains of Jace are his shattered shades, a twisted and empty BB gun, a singed pair of wolf ears, and his official imitation USMC dogtags burning with a white hot glow among the wreckage

Asked and answered.
To be fair, there really is no reason to nail Apple, other than the absolute shitshow of the app shop, the blatantly anti-consumer practices, the needlessly tightfisted control over the system and hardware, the draconian shit they pull on iPhone to the point you can't even create your own ringtones lest you be swayed from buying one from the Tunes store, the insistence that all music be iTunes music regardless of whether or not the platform carries the band, the planned obsolescence, the treatment of the end user as someone who is licensing, rather than owning the product, the ongoing price bloat, the needless shovelware, the cagey "no reporting on iPhone sales" shit with investors, the environmental claims, the sweatshops, the tax havens.....

In retrospect, the money your parents wasted on ten years of college would have been better spent if they had more equally distributed their wealth and opportunity to someone more deserving -- which would be anyone other than you -- instead of tossing it into the (literally) bottomless money pit that is John Flynt.

Classic child-of-privilege logic: "Daddy spent a fortune to send me to college so I could learn to hate him (and "late stage capitalism") for having the wealth that enabled me to go to college."

I can't figure this out. Why does Brianna never promote any of the events she's going to be at? I keep thinking I have the answer, but there's always some data point that doesn't fit.

Like, a week from today she's hosting a private event a San Fran bar which includes catering. That can't be cheap. Yet she hasn't mentioned it once anywhere public, and I've asked people I know who are actually going to GDC and who are likely to be members of private groups where it could be promoted and they haven't heard of it either. I've considered the possibility that making it an "event" is only a cover for her to be able to spend campaign funds on a private party for her ass patters, but then that doesn't fit with other events she doesn't promote either.

Is it that she's just lazy? That she doesn't want anyone to actually show up who might ask difficult questions? Something else?

It's obvious she's going to make a loss on this deal, just like the Star Wars event. These things are so ill conceived as fund raisers you think there has to be some ulterior motive, but is it possible she's just really, really stupid and thinks these plans of hers will work? The mind of the Wu is a mystery.

Almost anything John does is a combination of incompetence, greed and laziness. I think most of it is his scampaign is just completely fake bullshit to get money to spend on himself, but he's too lazy to do much to get it. It's just his personal slush fund to dull his awareness that he's a kept wu-man because he can spend "his" money on things instead of always just spending Frank's.

It's part of Johnny's Producers-esque scam.
  1. Create an event
  2. Don't do any promotion afterwards
  3. No one shows
  4. Pocket the cash saved from not having to buy food, party favors, promotion, etc., while writing off an "event" that cost $500 as a $10,000 campaign expense.

If that bar event does have catering, it'll most likely be a table with a package of Wonder Bread and some cold cuts.

What about justice for the victims of sexual abuse in the tech industry, John? Why aren't you naming names?

There is a lot of truth to that statement thanks to the efforts of fuckwits like yourself who whip up Twatter mobs at the drop of a hat over online disagreements.
