9,000 years ago Rome nor Classical Greece (where AC: o takes place) existed. This person lived around 6900 B.C. Greeks were living in straw huts and finally figuring out how to farm at that time. On another note, during the time of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey Rome was still a single city-state in Italy, it wouldn't be another roughly 400 years until they conquered Greece.
