Felony. You can be imprisoned for more than a year for it. It might be a wobbler that can be charged as either a misdemeanor or felony if the penalty sought is a year or less.

Just as a weird aside, there have been a few times I've completely powered down and unplugged my PS4 to move to another room, and brushed the power button right after unplugging, and it gives a "power on" beep and the light strip comes on for a second. As a fellow non-electrical-engineer, I assume it has something to do with robust capacitors in the PSU.
