Damn, Frank is seriously taking out a loan to buy the house in Dedham that they are currently renting? I thought they live in a shitty area with unpaved driveways... how expensive can the house be that Frank can't pay for it in full? Or did most of the last few years' income go into the scampaign, the Audi TT, the Porsche, the Challenger, and the other Porsche we never see them talk about.

That's the one thing they didn't spend money on, by all indications the campaign roughly broke even. By my reckoning they're only about $5K in the red at the moment, if you count the campaign cash on hand against the $50K loan Frank wrote. Which is reasonable, since all that is just money they'll spend for fun either way.

Good save brother, almost got your ass dragged away to the tranny gulag.

And then there's John, the fat old man who never drives the car at all.

Random and slightly off topic post.

Remember the book Wu wrote a chapter in? It was Kickstarter by a Tarah Wheeler who is also a Woman in Tech™

This came to my attention because of Wheeler's connection to Brianna:
https://www.rockelaw.com/employment-disputes/splunk-lawsuit/

The filing is here: https://www.rockelaw.com/wp-content/uploads/190116-Complaint.pdf

tl;dr: the person who helped Wu get in a book is also incompetent at her job (which she may have fucked her way to getting a la Zoe Quinn) is being sued for harassment of a subordinate.

According to the lawsuit, Splunk’s senior management responded to a complaint of misconduct and harassment by mansplaining that the female employee should just get over it. The harassment continued, and this senior manager told this Jewish employee to read Man’s Search for Meaning, which is about surviving a Nazi death camp.

I'm fucking dead

Via the following algorithm:
Does the book exist? If yes, then you haven't read it because you're a fucking dummy. Stay salty and moronic.

John with the mansplaining thing again. They don't assume he doesn't understand things, they conclude that he obviously doesn't when he says utterly fucking stupid shit that makes it blindingly clear he doesn't understand them.

I remember Randi Harper's rant about Wu including something about everyone telling her that Tarah was shady as fuck, but that she went ahead and did the book deal anyway.

It's amusing that someone who spends so much time whining about how badly women in tech are treated is in fact hired at places against the recommendation of her peers for jobs she doesn't have the competence to perform. It's almost like nepotism knows no gender boundaries.

As long as it's done for the right people.

This came out from some other drama involving a Facebook page, and other people have been trying to jump on the bandwagon to condemn this Facebook page that stated exactly what you said.

I think that this is prime grounds for other lolcows. I'm also surprised Wu hasn't chimed in on this yet.

It doesn't look like too bad of a house, the driveway is paved and all and doesn't look like it needs maintenance. It just isn't the house you'd expect a guy who makes a six figure salary and had millions in the bank to be living in. Odds are he makes more than anyone in that neighborhood does. Or did because he married a ghoul who has probably sucked away over a million dollars from him so far.

Outward projection or keeping up with the Jones's is expensive, but credit is easy. So the fast cars and all the other trinkets and gadgets if they were bought on lease or credit can add up very quickly to a lot of money going down the memory hole to pay for the APR interest.

Not to mention the upkeep of John is probably really expensive, considering the fact that if he has student loan debt, medical bills, I mean how much did the transition cost. Along with the fact that despite his best efforts not to actually work for a living, John probably makes a fair bit of money, but spends it on useless vanity projects, like games from a studio that doesn't actually produce games.

If Frank is now the one paying for it, it can add up really quickly.

These fucking guys.

Wu copypastas babby's first C++ and they fall at her feet praising their new qw33n h4ckz0r.

Yo, Wu. Zero style points for not using the ternary operator.

Code:
#include <iostream>

using namespace std;

int main()
    {
    char inp;
    cout << "Is Wu a fraud> [y/n]" << endl;
    cin.get(inp);

    cout
         << (inp == 'y' ? "correct." : "you dun fucked up.")
          << endl;

    return 0;
    }

Very tasteful to mock a senator who was tackled to the ground for his violent thoughts and had his ribs broken.

Haha, political violence was used on my political opponent, look how stupid he is for using the court system to get a reward for being attacked on his own property.

You'd think someone who won't shut the fuck up about "death threats" sent her way and the lack of serious LE response to them would be a little more sympathetic, but to think that you'd have to assume 1) these death threats actually happened and 2) that Brianna Wu isn't a spiteful, scummy, mutilated grifter.

Especially when everyone knows that if someone even coughed inappropriately near Brianna, he would do everything in his power to ruin them.

John thought he was scoring some kind of hypocrisy points because of Rand suing because of his libertarianism when in fact libertarians have an almost charming faith in civil litigation to solve practically everything from drunk driving to mass shootings. When someone pointed out John's stupidity, he started screeching about mansplaining yet again.

Oh, I got the gist of what he was doing. It's easy to think like John -- all you have to do is jab a pencil into your ear until you hit the speech centers and start to drool.
