There seem to be some uninted consequences of John's use of spellcheck. Or of not using it. I'm still not sure how he manages to be so consistently incapable of spelling the most common words in the language. It's almost as if he's a blithering idiot or something.

“In person.” Just another Wu-ism on par with when she says “we” in reference to the cool kids from high school and college. (This is especially sad with college as she was a decade older than her peers and they’re on record as being repulsed by her.)

She phrases things so that she sounds like she’s part of the in crowd.

Wu has an app that reads him articles/text on his phone and I've been wondering if he isn't dictating his tweets into the phone for the same reason, being lazy and wanting to feel like a big man, maybe he wouldn't even see the misspelled user-corrected words from his dictionary that way. But tweets are tight on space so it's not possible, it seems like a Wu thing to do though.

I think it was the 90s when there were gay activists who were all about outing people in the closet to increase visibility and demand representation - like they were getting the best of both worlds by being themselves in private by straight in public. It was, to say the least, controversial, and usually condemned by anyone who was non-fringe.

But it might be time for the trans activists to start it up. Otherwise they'll keep getting talked over by such True and Honest Women as Brianna Wu, and that seems an awful lot like silencing trans voices.
