It also shows how goddamn lucky this bastard ended up being. Born into a rich family, pissed away hundreds of thousands while failing college three times, finally got cut off from the family fortune and decided to get their dick cut off, and then they meet their future husband who has a six-figure paying job and does nothing but piss that away almost just as fast.

Remove any single part of that and Johnny would have gone down in flames while screaming with that ghoul face. Every single thing had to happen precisely to ensure that space between having money to burn was as temporary a reduction in living quality as possible.
 
I thought John met Frank before he cut his dick off (what John refers to as removing a birth defect) and that Frank footed the bill. John’s never been homeless or destitute in his life. He’s gone from one silver spoon to the next including when his parents supposedly kicked him out and he wound up with his aunt in Colorado.

According to the Flynt/Wu timeline I think after that he met Frank? I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

Wu on Vespa? For those not knowing, Vespa is an Italian cult scooter very popular in many parts of Europe. Due its design it gets tricky to ride it if you're a tall person. You knees will bump its front. Can't really see Wu having fun with that mode of transportation.
