KKK recruitment in John's classroom? I am reminded of how we had Josef Mengele as the school nurse at our high school. He had been hired by the white males of the local school board, who were intent on furthering their dream of a pure Aryan race. I can't even count the number of mornings I'd glance around my homeroom and notice classmates with startlingly blue eyes -- eyes that had been brown only the day before, until their owners were summoned to the nurse's office.
Then there was the school prom in my senior year, where we had a Prom Quing -- or was it a Prom Keen? -- that the good doctor had created by sewing together a cheerleader and a fullback, joined at the middle. When I think about the horror of that night I cri evrytiem, and only partly because I had no date.
But this is just what things were really like back then. Sadly our history has been whitewashed by evil white males, who are white and male and evil. The atrocities I witnessed in high school are every bit as true as John's are, and he and I stand together in speaking "truth" to power by revealing this suppressed past. So many cross burnings, so many pogroms, so many rape parties. Sigh, smh.
Thank god for brave people like Christine Ford, and John Flynt, and especially myself, who are willing to fabricate these historical events in the name of self aggrandizement and political gain. We truly are the champions.
