An easy way to lose weight and to reduce the potbelly of fail would be keto, which is just eating smarter and avoiding sugary foods.

Wu of course will never do this, given all their meals apparently come from fucking Blue Apron because nobody in the house understands how to cook.

Don’t forget the Wu’s drink Powerade Zero so they’re super healthy.

Also, as someone who recently lost a good amount of weight, exercise is helpful but diet is what really makes the weight come off. I started tracking my food back in March, and it’s shocking to realize how bad some of the “healthier” options I was used to choosing were really really bad.
 
There is no point whatsoever in arguing with fat acceptance people. They exist in an entirely different reality where physics and chemistry don't apply. All you can do is ignore them.

What all those fatties who screech "science has proven that dieting doesn't work!" don't realise is that it's not the diets that are failing, it's the people. If you reduce your food intake and switch to healthier meals, you will lose weight, of course you will, even if you do zero exercise. But fat people are addicted to eating huge portions of sugary foods, so they get miserable and start eating shit again to feel better. Then they blame the diets instead of themselves.
Also most fat people have no idea how much they eat, or how unhealthy it is. There's a really fascinating video on Youtube somewhere in which a fat woman explains her diet and uses it as "proof" that she is physically incapable of losing weight. I can't remember the whole thing but her breakfast was like four donuts and one of those ultra-sugary Starbucks milkshakes. And she thought that was healthy.

They're like the people that make decent money but are always broke before the next paycheck comes, and they just don't know why. They can't name anything they bought and they don't have more stuff or anything.

The perma-broke are usually spending small amounts of money per purchase but with many purchases per day, every day. That adds up quickly and it's a sneaky sort of overspending. Many fat people have the same blind spot when it comes to calories, the myriad of small things just doesn't register, like that woman you mention.


Oh, here's a foolproof weightloss plan: get rid of the TV, internet, computers and phones. Watch the pounds melt away! It also helps correct sleep schedules and bowel movements, that shit will run like clockwork.

No matter what an Indian Guru tells you, you cannot get around thermodynamics. If you eat less calories than you take in you will lose weight get less fat. There is a slight but key difference here fatties use as an excuse to keep being fat.

When you start going to the gym, even if you consume zero calories, you will likely gain some weight. The reason for this your fat ass is using muscles for actual work and not simply waddling to the kitchen. They will swell up, making you retain water and potentially weigh more - TEMPORARILY*. After a few days to a week of you keeping it at it, your muscles will rebuild, and your muscles will stop swelling (and start getting swole), and you'll lose that retained water weight plus whatever disgusting fat you've managed to sweat off.
If you actually do a body fat composition test, even with your bloated fatbody muscles, you will see your fat composition drop.

Most people don't take into account all their calorie consumption.
For example, they'll figure out "I burn 2000 calories a day, so that means I can eat a 1.25b burger". But dont' take into account that the bun, ketchup, mustard, onions, pickles, tomatoes, etc they throw on top also add calories, nor the 2L of Jolt they wash it down with, then say diet doesn't work when they keep getting fat.
Just because its not part of the main dish, or its a liquid, doesn't mean the calories magically vanish.

I guess I should ahve been more specific; even if you have some condition that makes your muscles continue to inflame and swell in "Oh fuck" mode, you'll STILL end up losing weight eventually. There is no excuse to be fat other than you want to.
 
I was flipping channels one night and came across some TLC show about a morbidly obese trashy land whale. She went to the doctor for surgery and he told her, get your diet under control and stop eating shit so you lose wait.

It’s goddamn basic science, which I know is not ok with the feels over reals crowd like John here. However it’s fucking true, every weight loss story starts with “I stopped eating garbage, cut alcohol, and worked out”. It’s not magic, there’s literally no other way to lose weight and saying that isn’t true is dangerous. It reinforces obese idiot’s attitudes that they’re healthy at any size when in fact their body is rotting away.

A bit off-topic, but anyway: There was an entire show in the UK called "Secret Eaters" where they basically stalk fat people (who sign up for the show; it's all kosher) and observe what they actually eat. The fatties give an ostensible sample of their diet at the outset, which mysteriously is usually below their recommended caloric intake and makes no mention of things like getting up at 4am to eat a cheesecake, which they are observed doing. Not all fatties are in denial about their awful diets, but enough of them are that an entire series was predicated on it. The biggest offenders for "I don't understand why I'm fat even though I eat 5000 calories a day" seem to be frumpy wrong-side-of-3o women, which also seem to be the biggest proponents of "fat acceptance" and attempts to "educate" men into finding obese women attractive. What a coincidence! Obesity is not attractive because attraction and attractiveness is primal and biological. A woman too fat to safely bear children is not desirable. I've never understood this doublethink from people like John: he purports to represent and serve underprivileged people, but being able to eat to the point of obesity, and then have media campaigns trumpeting about how your disgustingly indulgent lifestyle is okay and attractive, seems pretty fucking privileged to me.

Tech companies take note, when John is Congressman in charge of all Technologies, save the lobbyist money and just sponsor a few obscure apple podcasts.

I'm a politician too. I've also never held office, but I have at times considered it so that counts.
If you just spent a couple grand to send emails and a pamphlet, you'd likely poll about the same Brianna did against Lynch.

Maybe that's what we should do if John is serious about running in 2020 - raise a little cash and run a fake progressive candidate to see how badly a completely fictitious candidate would beat him.
