"Make time" implies she does anything of value that makes up a busy, productive schedule. That said, murder 1 is a crime of intent, of premeditation. It would only fit here if that dumbass went to the guy's door knowing she was about to kill him or intending to commit a crime (robbery, etc). Voluntary manslaughter, on the other hand, is a perfect fit for killing someone in the heat of the moment or because you're a drunk fool, etc. But Wu buys (or pretends to buy) into the idea that the law doesn't matter except as it can be used to punish the white oppressors and 'restore justice' (i.e. blood reparations). Imagine this idiot in charge of any governmental lever. She'd be more Trumpian than Trump.
